discrimination practices in the business sector.

Could this be one of the reasons why so many people migrate to America, to escape an incensitive government and society.

Wait, I can hear all those pro-Mexican backers typing about how America was so bad to all these other ethnic groups. But wait a minute, don't change the answer to your question. Read my question carefully, this isn't about you. It is a straight forward question and deserves a legitimate answer.

I need to write a paper and the research I've done isn't helping. If the character that Ashley Judd plays was accused of killing her husband, and served the sentence for it, could she be tried again in a federal court?

I haven't really been following the news much but when I saw my president dressed in his former military flight jacket saying "mission accomplished" I said hallelulujah and threw down the remote and thought to myself that there is a man who had a visionary plan and saw to it that the job was done. Now I'm watching the news again and am slightly confused by whether the mission is still in process or not?

Did I hear my president correctly or did he mislead me? If I can't get this figured out, I'm thinking of voting Democratic in two weeks!

Reports are that they are pressing the NATO forces in Afghanistan now. If we hadn't invaded Iraq, the Taliban wouldn't have figured out how to effectively fight us. Atta boy, George, Dick, and Condi.

I've read two articles today stating that it is possible that Barack Obama may run for president in 2008. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I had heard a couple of years ago that he would not be able to run for president because he wasn't born as a US citizen (i.e. not born in the US, his parents weren't US citizens). Am I wrong about this -- is he qualified to run?

I hate the idea of choosing between the party whose platform I disagree with least. Why are third parties always on the fringe, or stomped out real quickly (like the reform party)? Are people really that happy voting either Democrat or Republican?

It seems to me that every country in the world is in national debt, how can this be, doesn't it have to even out so that there is no gross detbt or surplus? doesn't someone have to be owed all this money instead of being in debt?

I asked a question an hour ago about what 5 issues were the most important to you. I received a lot of good responses like the following:
National Security
Immigration/Border Control
Education Reform
Government Spending/Budget
War
Health Care Reform
The Environment
And a lot of other issues........

So I guess my question is, how do we get our government to avoid the bickering and focus on these issues?

Please do not answer with – By not voting for Republicans/Democrats

I'm a republican and, for a long time, was in support of Bush's policies. But his recent policy permitting the torture of accused terrorists, and the right to waver habius corpus for accused terrorists or conspirators has made me loose a great deal of respect for Bush because I believe these laws to be completely unconstitutional. You don't become what you're fighting, otherwise what's the point? These new laws have made all republicans look bad, and have made us seem like unconstitutional radicals. Opinions?
