Auhunter04 - Yes, it could cause problems, but it may also cause benefits. What if the moon exploding somehow solved our global warming problem?

what logic did you use to determine if we should blow up the moon? how would that benefit us? what is the main purpose you have for wanting to blow it up?

My 4 year old would be very upset if the moon wasn't here anymore as she calls that "her moon" and blows the moon kisses and tells it good nite every nite before bed.

so my vote is to please dont' blow up the moon. not only for that but for the adverse effects that would have on the earth if you did.

No, I'm thinking that the tides would get all screwed up, then where would the man in the moon live if we blew up his house, and would all the cheese make super human strength mice? Ralph Cramden or anyone else for that matter could no longer say " To the moon Alice....One of these days....To the moon!".....the problems would be too great. I think we need to just leave it alone, okay?

Yeah, what the hell has it ever done for me? Helped me get a promotion, put food on my table, help me find girls? No way, it is just a waste of our money when we try to send people to walk on it. If grey sand was so special I'd just walk around on my driveway. Screw that moon!

Only if it's Roseanne's or Star Jones's moon....
Otherwise....no!
Without the REAL moon (that's Luna to all you uninformed!) we'd have no tide, thus no surfers! And where would the state of California be without surfers? We'd have no Red Hot Chili-Peppers!
That would be a bad thing!

Why? Then we'll have no moonlight, no moonlit walks. We won't even have full moons. Nothing good could possibly come from blowing up the moon.

there are many reasons to not blow up moon. its action impacts the orbit of earth, the tides, and many others things. Basically it would mean life as we know it on earth would take a dramatic change and possibly end.

Are you on drugs or just really bored?

It'd be pitch black if there wasn't a moon out at night.

As an American, I say we should blow up the moon first before any other country beats us to it
