All your sucking up to Kim in North Korea and all your talk, talk, talk and actually helping them with their reactor has sure paid off. Maybe you should have just sold him a nuke or two outright.

Is this real? I mean what kind of a world do we live in where we think we are better than others. I just read an answer from some guy who says that automatic rifles and cameras should do the trick along the border, so that any one who comes close can just get killed and stop bugging americans.
I fell really upset about this, and angry too.

In Britan we have freedom of speech, you can say pretty much what you want. About anything or anyone (as long as its not slanderous) As soon as anything is mentioned in the press on the news by a politician or whoever, about Islam theres major upset. It could be my misunderstanding, but I thought that religion was based on 'peace', 'love' and 'tolerance' of other religons?

( Republicans say they know what they are doing in Iraq.
Silly Republican rhetoric. We're losing the war, but admitting that we're losing and changing our strategy is somehow supposed to be worse than stubbornly staying and continuing to lose. And all this while our REAL enemies continue to grow stronger and we're powerless to stop them because we're stretched too thin in Iraq where we don't belong. All thanks to George.

The words "We are for America" is false. The Republicans are, as we now know, are not for the good of the USA.

The car wash at Pacific Coast Highway and Warner Avenue was sponsored by the Marines, who wore their uniforms and held signs. Some people stopped just to hand out donations.

One driver, though, slowed down, rolled down his window and spat on one of the Marines, witnesses said. The driver has not been identified, but was described as being in his 30s.

After chastising the "cowardly act" at an Oct. 2 City Council meeting, Sullivan came close to tears several times during an impromptu speech.

"Everyone was universally enraged," the mayor said after the meeting. "Even the people who are against the war."

Why don't you punk liberals stop the car, get out and try that stuff. Oh yeah, you cannot afford the dental work you would need.

What do you think about people getting funding for school and using false information to do so while those who work but can't afford schooling and want to better themselves get denied? Why do the goverment allow people to go to school and drop classes after so many hours of the class and still fund them for the class. Is it okay for people to be married and lie to the government about their marriage status just to get pell grant checks, and student loans? Should the government investigate into these situations more to detect things of such? And should these people be charged for giving fraudulent information?

Very conservative guests have been treated well or at worst neutrally by Stewart. It couldn't be worse than going on Tim Russert. What do you think is behind this WH policy?

I believe that when a person is charged with a sexual crime then he/she shoudl be implanted with a chip that could track his progress. So, if a sexual attack occurrs or a young child is kidnapped, then all the sexual predators in the area could very easily be accounted for. that way, lives may be saved b/c there has been extensive research showing that pedophiles will never be cured and sexual predators always pose a danger to society. In short, if you sacrifice your rights by sexually violating a person, you have proven you cannot be trusted without being closely monitored. many of these sexual predators escape justice and carry on ruining lives for years. this needs to be stopped.

Here's the situation. I am going to Spain for a study abroad program this spring. A student visa costs $100, is good for six months, and does not allow me to work. On the other hand, I am dual citizen, which would allow me to purchase a $200 UK passport that would last for 10 years. The question here is whether or not the British passport conveys any additional benefits that would be worth the $100 difference in price (plus, the symbolic fact that I, an American, would be statistically recorded as a Brit). Is it easier for someone with a UK passport to get work in Europe than someone with a US passport? Please help me figure out what the pros and cons are for each option. Thank you!

Using common sense, one can see that eventually, over many many years, everyone will eventually obtain nuclear weapons.

Is nuclear war inevitable? or will we learn that we have developed so much that anyone can lead to worldwide destruction and thus true world peace will begin?

The Supreme Court rules immigrants do not have a right to back pay if employed illegally.
WASHINGTON -- Immigrants who work illegally in American plants, restaurants and fields do not have the same rights to restitution as U.S. citizens who are mistreated on the job, a divided Supreme Court ruled Wednesday.

The court ruled that a plastics company owed nothing to a Mexican man who used a friend's identification to get a job. The Bush administration argued that without the threat of punishment for employers, some of the millions of undocumented workers in the United State might be exploited.

Justices split 5-4 along ideological lines on whether companies can be forced to give back pay to illegal workers wrongly fired or demoted.

"Awarding back pay to illegal aliens runs counter to policies underlying" federal immigration laws, Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist wrote in the court's opinion.
