I just want to know how many of you think that the world is coming to an end. If so, how long from now. There isn't really a right answer but I just like to know everyones opinion.

No, not at all...but you might wish it did.
America, and the world, are in the midst of a huge paradigm shift.
American citizens need to face the reality that the rest of the world already knows: the America that was, no longer exists.
The changes in our Constitution wrought by the Patriot Acts have significantly changed the definition of our country. Together with last week's "torture" bill, the role of the citizen in our country has been changed entirely. The rights, freedoms, and protections we've always taken for granted have been all but eliminated. Speaking out against government can land us in military custody as potential "enemy combatants". Our law enforecement is being militarized. We no longer have ANY recourse against, or control of, what once was The People's government. It is now fully, and legally, in the hands of the corporate Zionists of PNAC. ALREADY.
Fully half of America, in self-righteous and narcisistic defiance, have supported this administration and helped deliver us all into what our forefathers would deem a nationalistic HELL in every sense of the term. They think they will be rewarded, and perhaps somehow they will, for being traitors to our nation's historical ideals, and every other citizen of our country. They spit out the word "liberal!" having already been indoctrinated by the PNAC propaganda that tells them what the rest of us are thinking, never asking us, and refusing to listen. Irrational fanaticism.
PNAC's aim is American Global Domination, or Pax Americana...the New World Order. WE will be the cannon fodder for their war, and as citizens, are contractually bound to finance it, as well. The so-called "War on Terror" has been about nothing but removing PNAC's possible stumbling blocks, and has done nothing for our citizens except INCREASE our threat of terrorism from those nations that understand PNAC's threat, and all but abolish the freedom and liberty we imagined we had.
Against all published documentation, public admissions, declassified reports, and public record, supporters of this administration continue to deny reality, and insist on perpetuating outright lies already PROVEN false. They have sacrificed our nation to their loyalty of PNAC's neo-conservative governmental takeover.
Now, Bush wants us to teach our children to rat eachother out. He doesn't need to teach that to his constituents, as they've already proven where their loyality lies.
In an interview a few weeks back, Newt Gingrich stated that this is World War III, and that Bush should just come out and state it plainly. Anyone with any sense of reality, and who isn't getting snowballed by the intentional political distractions (Mexicans, Foley, Clinton, etc.), can see that.
I was never sure, and I'm still not, whether his supporting constituents actually know about PNAC's doctrine, who PNAC is comprised of, and it's members who control our Pentagon, the Defense Department and the White House, and are therefore just as evil...or if they are simply that gullible.
Either way, while claiming patriotism, these fearful and fanatical traitors have proven themselves to be the ENEMY of freedom, liberty, and justice as well. They are the nemesis of we Americans who still honor and believe in the Constitution, and the America that no longer is.

i think it was the Aztec's that believed that the world is going to end in 2012... it very well could be with the advancement of technology and spread of nuclear powers.... never mind biological weapons that make my skin crawl... so yeah... it could happen soon... but then again... isn't that what all the past generations believed.... 2012

It's debatable whether the world ever started, which needs to be addressed first if we are going to theorize whether or not it is going to end.
