Yes, this is upsetting. The immigrants have always been an issue, yet you NEVER see american people working hard for thier money. Its almost like they EXPECT everything to be given to them on a silver platter. Immigrants WORK HARD for the little money they can earn, yet they are the problem? Most of the people on disability and social security are AMERICAN. Which means they DONT want to work. Everyone has forgotten what the Statue of LIBERTY was made for,... it was a welcome sign to ALL immigrants, that were trying to find a better life. We ALL deserve a better life. People in Mexico dont have good lifes, they are poor, if we were like that we would be doing the same thing. Anyways, what does it matter if they are LEGAL? or Illegal? Its not thier fault the americans have twisted the law where it makes it almost impossible to become citizens. My heart goes out to the Hard Working Immigrant. Not the lazy immigrants that come to this country to have kids and collect welfare

There was racism question that I answered a couple days that kinda goes along with that. There is a belief of American eliteism in the states these days where people think they are better than anyone else born in the US and they want no one from other countries here seeing that they sully the soil we work on. Unfortunately most of those people come from those same backgrounds they feel so much better than because the United States was created by so many cultures, and not just the settlers. Immigration is good for the country because it brings diversity and we need to be a diverse culture. Unfortunately though uncontrolled growth is harmful to our country as well and illegal immigration needs to be controlled. Racism and elitists upset me as well though but to prevent it we have to stand up to and talk about how wrong those others are.

Well, cameras and automatics will do the trick....
And no. Becuse its true. It has nothing to do about race...I wish everyone will cut with that crap! Its about the laws that have been trappled on and ignored. Its about what is right and what is wrong. Ill be damned if this country dose nothing about this PLAGUE...becuse thats what it is. The constant wave of illegal pepole...to be on a serious note...we dont know if they have shots. Seriously. In America, I know it is mandatory for everyone to have there innoculations... but over there...Im not sure. Its not only illegal, but it is a health problem. AND NO Im not being racist or cruel...Im stating the facts. If you cant handle it, go and leave this country. It is AMERICA who is suffering...It America whos rights are being trampled on. They are NOT supposed to be here. Not at all. So deport EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!

As a Mexican-American, I am embarrassed with my people's lack of respect for the laws of the United States and their feeling that this country owes them certain rights like housing, schooling for their young, free medical care and other welfare entitlements. In a way they hurt our economy buy putting an extra burden on local resources. I resent that a large part of my taxes are going to people who are here illegally.
At the same time, I'm ashamed of my fellow Americans who take advantage of these people who only want to better their lives. Mexicans get paid less than minimum wage and are taken advantage of daily by people who profess to be good businessmen.
Mexicans are wrong for coming here illegally, but at the same time, they wouldn't be coming here if businessmen would refuse to hire them. Businessmen care less about illegals and only want the illegals so that the businessmen can get richer. And, while we're at it, many American save money daily by having illegals working for them. Yes, Mexicans are wrong, but at the same time, there is much blame to go around.

I agree with you--we were ALL immigrants(or our ancestors were) in this America. Even the First Nations peoples immigrated here through the land bridge from Asia.
It strikes me as arrogant to try to keep' the others' out. There are no boundaries in space, and therewil lcome atime when boundaries in real life will be nothing more than a story--already in Europe, people move around through the EU, working and living where they will. It will be so here, too.

Immigration is not a plague. I embrace immigration- legal immigration. Illegals violate our rights by entering this country and then they feel that they are better than us. They demand the right to vote, they want us to pay for them and support their hundreds of children. They act as if they have more rights than us in our own country, even though they are criminals and fugitives. They steal our jobs, steal our money, steal our welfare and education. Illegals are the true modern plague for Americans.

Immigrants aren't a plague. Illegal immigrants are a plague and a cancer on this nation, and certainly one that needs to be stopped.

20 million American people have been killed by illegal aliens. Now I know the 12 - 20 million illegal aliens that have invaded our country are not all murders but I am upset about that!
I am also up set that most illegal aliens collect some kind of social services. Like welfare, WIC,education, public housing, medicaid and unemployment! I am upset about that!
They cost us American taxpayers 3.3 million dollars a day just to house them the Federal Prisons! I'm upset about that!
They cost the American taxpayer $70 BILLION DOLLAR A YEAR! I am upset about that!
They break our laws and spit in our face, fly our flag upside down and march on our country! I'm upset about that!
If you want illegal aliens to have amnesty you are un-American!!!

Do you not realize that no one has anything against immigrants. It is the illegal border crossing that people find horrible. People who break the law should be punished. Are you saying that people who commit armed robbery should not be sent to jail?
We all like immigrants. Most of us despise criminals.
