Then don't be a contract employee and become a full-timer somewhere.

It is your choice, but you want the best of both worlds. If it's like here in America, they pay more for contract employees. You want the extra salary AND job security. Sorry, you can't have it both ways.

That is the benefit of companies having contracted staff. If cuts need to be made then you just get rid of the contracted staff. You are either working on a self-employed basis or, more commonly, for an agency. As you work for the agency it is different, contracts between the agency and company can be cancelled at any time or changed to have fewer/more staff. These terms are an integral part of the contract between the agencies and companies. Legally they haven't treated the contractor like a 2nd class employee as they are not an employee but a contractor. Contractors are employees of the agencies. If you choose agency employment then this is a risk you take

contracted staff are only taken on to do specific job, usually at a higher rate of pay than the average employee on full time contract, they are entitled to the same conditions as the full timers unless their contract states differently which you should always check before signing,at the end of the day as a contractor who you work for under what conditions is up to the individual.

Of course not, per sure, many of those "second class employees" are best qualified to perform the job than others in the payroll, UK labor authorities should evaluate better this unfear
situation.

A lot of companies have policies like this--even if you are full-time. They can let you go for something as minor as piercing your lip (some companies really do!) or as major as theft. So don't feel so bad. Leave the UK and come work here. We love you over in America!

Yep - if your a contractor then can bin you off at the drop of a hat !

i think of this sums it up somewhat perfect... Doctrine and Covenants 121:39 - 39 we've found out via unhappy adventure that it is the character and disposition of virtually all adult men, as quickly as they get somewhat authority, as they assume, they'll in the present day start to exercising unrighteous dominion. even nonetheless Mormon doctrine glorifies women and womanhood, and my very own costly husband has found out nicely from all the final government to handle his spouse and young ones with love and know, i will no longer be able to help yet word that there ARE adult men who p.c.. and decide among the doctrines as a manner to exercising their penchant for domination. There ARE some very depressing women in "Mormondom" because of the fact of those manipulative jerks. confident, it fairly is uncomplicated to abuse women who have not got the financial power (or the actual stamina, via being pregnant, etc) to tell a jerk the place to flow... That mentioned, i think of the final public of the management is solid and truthful, and intensely loving and supportive of their different halves... certainly, looking decrease back, all of my Bishops have been married to somewhat dominant women, lol! confident, I do think of being pregnant does make one sense somewhat powerless (I hate being pregnant.. however the outcomes are worth it, lol). even nonetheless, i've got in no way been taken care of as a "2d classification citizen". certainly, from what i've got gleaned from the classes, and how i've got been taken care of via my truthful husband, i've got continuously felt commemorated and precious for my goddess like features. somewhat some the "Mormon jerks" i comprehend have been semi-energetic. the adult men who humbly learn the classes and prepare them... they are real gemstones of humanity! each (solid) lady merits a husband like that!

And? Get over it. If you aren't providing your company with a valuable service, why should they have to provide you with a job?

Wah wah wah... the company doesn't owe you ANYTHING. In America you can have FIFTY years of service and be terminated in one day.

Again... get over it.
