What do you think about people getting funding for school and using false information to do so while those who work but can't afford schooling and want to better themselves get denied? Why do the goverment allow people to go to school and drop classes after so many hours of the class and still fund them for the class. Is it okay for people to be married and lie to the government about their marriage status just to get pell grant checks, and student loans? Should the government investigate into these situations more to detect things of such? And should these people be charged for giving fraudulent information?

It is illegal (fraud) to misrepresent your marital status on a Pell Grant application and people doing so could be charged, if they were discovered.

I suggest you drop a note to the grants office if you know someone who is defrauding the system.

In an ideal world each one would be investigated but there is likely not the resources for that. If caught they should be charged as it is a crime.
