I'm against the war, but even I can agree that that was a shitty thing to do. They're people, and this guy spitting at them just because they have different views from him is incredibly close-minded. If he wants to express his views, fine- but he can hold a protest, or do something more productive than taking out his anger on a random person who is simply expressing their views just as he seems to want to express his.
On the other hand, you can't really assume he was a liberal... And you can't generalize on all liberals based on his behavior if he was.

Thank you liberals for proving the point over and over again. They are spoiled children. They think like children, they argue like children, and they act like children.
They don't have a logical argument to back up their opinion, so they resort to name-calling. They lose a fair fight, and they cry that they were cheated.
Spitting on a soldier is absolutely disgusting. I hope they got his license plate number. Do you know that spitting on someone is legally assault? I'd love to see this idiot go down for this.

1. The person was not identified. Who knows what their politics are? Maybe they weren't even an American citizen.
2. To smear all liberals.over the supposed act of one is an old, worn technique. I think in light of all the problems in the world, and in the Republican party, that you should come up with something better for your side. At least a semi-valid point that a few people over the age of 12 can agree with.

I am a liberal, and just like the liberals who won both WW1 and WW2, Wilson and Roosevelt, we believe in getting a job done, unlike your war heroes Nixon and W. Bush, cowards to the core. You may think you can impugn liberals but the facts speak for themselves, your America would be speaking German or Japanese if it were not for the liberals. Another case in point is the liberal JF Kennedy who saved our butts from a nuclear attack coming from Cuba. I myself am a veteran of 19 months in combat, I volunteered for duty in the Army and I volunteered for two tours in Vietnam, how does my liberalness stack up to the duty’s Bush performed as a young man. People who draw the kind of distinctions you do are aiding the enemy by perpetrating the lies.
