I'm a fan of both guys shows but I have to agree. If we're looking to a couple of comedians to lead this country then we really are in sorry shape.

BTW Chavez in Venezuela is running for reelection. One of his opponents is a comedian.

The Daily Show and The Report are very popular now because they put politics in a comedic view. People are still getting informed without really realizing it - they are laughing themselves informed...

They feel stewart and colbert are less full of doo doo than our current politicians. I'd support them.

They are great comedians. Millions of people enjoy their humor. But the Presidency might be a little far fetched.
