My mother recently passed. In the will she left me the house and contents. She had it set up in a trust that my brother's friend drew up to protect me from taxes. My brother is exec. of estate and p.o.a.. It also shows he owns the trust. How can I get the house in my name since I'm living there and paying the mortgage?

What if the various warring factions that make up the population in Iraq are prepared to continue their cival war forever? Is America prepared to stay in their country to assist the government (we set up) forever? Is the cost in lives and money worth the risk that someday maybe there will be stability? What if there is no "exit strategy"?

What if the "JOB" can't be "FINISHED"....?

At what point will it make sense to admit we made a mistake, as we did in Vietnam? In a year? 5? 10?

We have so many troops that are already deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq already and they are doing the best that they can. Some people believe that the social responsibility for the poor hungry people (have-nots) in this world lies on the shoulders of the wealthy (haves)? They feel that people's needs should be met before the wealthy can have their luxuries. YET they have their computers and internet, both luxuries. If they were to sell their computers and cancel internet (TV, electricity, car notes) that money could go to feed MANY people in the world.

The reason is because they want want want, but the giving stops shy of them. There are some people who practice what they preach, usually religious folk who give all their possesions up and live simply, and in relative poverty by choice. Although I don't agree with them, I applaud them.
