Are you aware the Supreme Court has ruled that the government has no authority to impose a direct unapportioned tax on the labor of the American people, and the 16th Amendment does not give the government that power?

Your tax dollars. There are very few items the public is willing to pay the full price.
They are:
Comfort/convenience
Recreation
Prestige

(Safety)

Any item require to exist they wish the government &/or business to subsidize. (Safety) is in the middle because it is in the middle of where they are willing to pay.

Finally remember it is finally all paid by the consumer sometime. The government creates no wealth; it only adds to the cost.
