I don't know if your question has any honesty in it or not.

Foley is a pervert, first and foremost.

He is also gay and directed his perversion in that way towards young men.

Whether he was Democrat or Republican, he took advantage of his position and is an evil dude.

The irony is that the Republicans are so against gays and are supposedly so much for "Family Values". But yet they allowed this pervert to fester in their midst and allowed him to continue his evil without anyone questioning him or stopping him. For that hyprocicy, your party is hopefully doomed in the upcoming election. It is the glaring exposure of the hypocricy that is so entertaining at the moment. You are seriously misguided. There is a difference between being gay and being a pedophile. When you're gay and you have a partner of legal age then consent between two adults is there. No matter what sex you are messing around with someone underage is sick and perverted. And keep in mind that the majority of pedophiles are white married men. Go figure. I am a liberal democrate female and had many gay men as my friends ,and I was comfortable having them around my son. My gay friends happen to like other gay men. They do not go after children. And my son is now a grown man who is very much attracted to women. What Foley did was not because he is Gay..he did what other heterosexual men have done...MESSED with kids
