You are primary care giver 4 your husband’s 4 kids whom you sponsored to come to the US . They speak some limited English but still speak mostly in their native language around you as does their father. One day the 10 yr old girl is singing quietly when the 14 yr old boy says something to her in a harsh, angry tone. She looks hurt and stops singing. You ask him what he said. He ignores your question. You ask again. Again no reply. Finally he says he can’t translate it into English. You say maybe your father can help us with that. Should I call him? Kid says no don’t call him but later again says he can’t even translate a hint of what he said into English. You call the father who tells you “If they don’t want to tell you then it’s not your business what they say! Maybe you need to go learn how to speak our language.” You say “Can U ask him to tell U hat he said in your language?” Husband: “No because I DON'T CARE what he said to her. Only you do." How would you handle this?

I am the defendant in a lawsuit w/ my landlord. The judge sent me a letter declaring that I was to pay my landlord a specific amount of money within 30 days or file an appeal. If neither was done, he would declare a "transcript of judgement" in favor of the plaintiff. What exactly does this mean? Does she get awarded the whole amount that she sued for (instead of the amount he declared)? Will they file a warrant against me? I don't have the whole amount in full, that the judge delared I pay--so I am trying to find out what will happen if the whole amount isn't paid. I can only make monthly payments till February (tax time), then I can pay the remaining balance. Only knowlegable and serious answers reply, please. I have searched numerous legal term websites to no avail. Someone please help. Thanks!!

There were 5 women, talking badly about my so-called friend, like a DOG! & I went to inform her about it, & she said I was gossipping, & her friend butted in the conversation & said that it's malicious gossip on MY part & not the other womens' parts. Think about how it is next to impossible to be alive in this country without ID. You need ID for:
1. writing checks
2. cashing checks
3. using credit cards
4. buying a house
5. buying a car
6. to drive
7. to enter most contracts
8. to get a job
9. to rent movies at most places
10. to get credit of any kind
11. to rent a house or apartment
12. to rent a car
13. to do rent to own
14. if you get stopped by police whether driving, walking, or riding a bike
15. to buy alchohol
16. to buy cigarettes
17. to obtain loans
18. to open bank accounts
19. to start a business
20. to get social security
21. to get welfare
22. almost anything in life
Now knowing this what harm does it do to show ID for one more thing in life. Democrats always say the poor and elderly wouldn't be able to vote, but the poor usually get welfare and the elderly social security both of which require ID. So what is the problem.
