Does anyone know the title of a book and the author that claims there is no law that provides for a federal U.S. income tax? I first heard about this book in about 1983.

There is a book called "The Federal Mafia" by Irwin Schiff.

It was the only book to be banned in amerika, but I think that you can get it again now.

And there are many other books like it, just run a search on the internet.

Not that I know of. I would think that the Sixteenth Amendment of the US Constituion is conclusive that the government may tax income.
