The American property market is now falling on a year by year basis - we are told that UK house prices are overvalued if we look at the rise compared to the increases in people's incomes, will we see similar drops in value here? What is likely to crystalise this situation?

Three girls named Samantha, Janet and Rebecca were driving through the country, when all of a sudden their car stalls. Samantha remembers seeing a farm a little ways back, so her and Janet walk to the farm, leaving Rebecca guarding the car.
When Samantha and Janet get to the farm, they tell the farmer what happened. The farmer raises a gun to their head and tells them to get a fruit, vegetable, whatever, just get something from the garden. Samantha grabs a turnip, and Janet grabs a single grape. Just as they come back into the farmer's house, Rebecca walks in. He tells Rebecca to do the same as they just did, and Rebecca heads off towards the garden. While she's out in the garden, the farmer tells Samantha and Janet to shove whatever they have up their ***, and who ever laughs, dies. Samantha laughs first, so the farmer shoots her. Then Janet laughs and she gets killed too.

So they are floating out of their bodies, and Janet asks Samantha why she died. Samantha said that the

My son has joined the Navy and leaves for basics October10. He signed up for 8 years (he got a bonus if he signed for an extra year) he has to do either 4 or 6 years active I forget which one it is. But now he has told me he wants to change to Navy Reserves instead of, I guess it's just full time Navy, but when he signed his name on the dotted line it was for active duty. My question is can he change now to Navy Reserves? He wants to do this because he got a girlfriend, and he says they are getting serious. I'm about ready to choke him!!!!

I was sitting here reading some questions/answers, and eating some pringles. Nothing too exciting. Then I happened to glance at the information on the pringles, and what do ya know, english/spanish. Now curious, I looked at my apple juice container. English/spanish yet again. I am looking at all these different things now, and almost all of them, or at least a good majority, have both english and spanish on them.

Why is this?

I lived in Germany for 6 years. You know what? Their boxes and cartons did not have German/English on them, or better yet, German/Turkish, since turks seem to make up the biggest immigrant population in Germany. Nope, it's all german there. Always will be too. They don't cater to people coming into their country and expecting everything to be in both languages.

Why should we have to do this for the Mexican population in the US? They are in OUR country, the least they could do is learn our language and use it. They should conform, not us! Sick of it.

The US's unilateral action to remove an evil dictator and instil democracy but with evident economic motives, or China's and Russia's unwillingness to get involved with Iran's blatant disregard of the UN because of their econmic interests? Should we accept this wrong/evil if it is believed that it will ultimately help a country?

I know you're all going to say the US has in no way helped Iraq but discuss not the practicalities of this but the theory.
