An army medic turned himself in Tuesday to face a possible court-martial because he could "not live with being a participant of war anymore". He fought the Pentagon for years to become a conscientious objector but lost. He served a year in Tikrit as a combat medic. Prior to his second tour he left his base until he turned himself in. He says his 'military experience' changed his mind.
"I have come to believe that it is wrong to destroy life; that it is wrong to use war' that it is immoral, & I can no longer go down this path." he said."Its the right thing to do. I'm not a deserter or a coward." It's something I can live with (possibility of court martial & jail time). "What I can't live with is being a participant of war anymore" he said.
We will wait and see w/this man.

In the interin, I can sympathize with him reference Iraq. It is a death trap. and no. I'm not a coward. I'm younger than Bush daughters. They need to enlist. If they did I mght reconsider.
I mean that

My fellow Republicans...

The RNC is working on a new housing plan for the poor and elderly in this great nation. No more section 8 vouchers, no more gov't subsidizing!

Instead the RNC envisions entire communities created and planned just for the poor and elderly!

The RNC will help provide sheet metal, tin, 1/4" plywood, and have the residents build their own homes! They communities will be built along clean rivers and streams to provide water! Ample trees in the forest will provide a energy source for heating and cooking. Each home will cost $300, instead of the 2.6 billion we spend to help house people annually.

We will name these communities after Herbert Hoover, that lead America through times of great prosperity!

MY fellow Republicans.......Will you support the new RNC plan for housing?

Ok. I was wondering how do you get medicaid for a child who has uncontrolled seizures, developmentally delayed due to seizures and medicines, and also has tuberous sclerosis.

Is there a certain trick to get past all of the paper work?

Discrimination affects European-Americans the least. Since they're the dominant race in America,
caucasian sterotypes don't significantly affect them in any way. Sure, there are the ridiculous sterotypes such as white people can't jump...but that doesn't stop them from being in basketball, track, etc. On the other hand, the sterotypes of blacks that they're not intelligent and that Latinos are lazy results in discrimination in the work place. When was the last time you've seen a rich, top executive on TV that was black or Hispanic? And for Asians - when was the last time you've seen an Asian guy in a non-martial arts, non-nerdy, non-comical movie/tv role?

Every race has sterotypes, but these sterotypes affect the caucasian group the LEAST.

Jokes about certain a certain group will only increase sterotypes and help further discrimination.

I work at a car lot. My boss is a finance manager. He has a videorecorder in his office to record customers during loan closings. Every now and then I go sit in his office and have general conversations. Someone very close to me was in trouble with the law a while back. I think that he was trying to get a little too into my business today. Does he have any right legally to record me without me knowing or without my consent?

It is for our safety that liquids and such cannot be taken onto a plane. And yet people argue against that and say that they don't care about safety. But when some terrorist decides to blow up a plane because security is low, the same people will go crazy or criticize the security or how easy it is to do something like that. Will nothing make the human race happy?

Would do you want more?
The Bush Administration has no idea what to do anymore (It's really a shame) and they can't seem to admit it. But the CIA leakage proved everything we all should have known for years. The fact that our current strategy is about as effective as tapping a giant beehive with a stick.

OR

In the process of my divorce the court system is continually trying to deny me of my bill of rights. I am self-employed AND work part-time for a company and yet they tell me I should get a job at McDonald's so I have a steady income. As it is my right to choose my trade or profession why do they think they can be dictators to me? I am in the United States! A second court hearing has actually been set up to try to bully me into bending to their will even though they are supposed to uphold the bill of rights. I'm very disappointed in the system. (again)

My former roommate and I signed a year lease. She could no longer afford to live in the house, so she went to the landlord. The landlord let her out of the lease and I was no longer able to afford the house by myself.I paid and lost the whole $500 deposit and I've fronted bills for the past two months that she was unable but knew she needed to pay half of...

Basically, my former roommate and friend owes me about $500. She does not return my phone calls and she has not come back to get her stuff... I know where she is living now though. I have some documentation of our lease, the bills I completely paid for, bill notices I typed up for her, that she has thrown away, nasty e-mails that prove she needs to pay.

Will this hold up in small claims? What can I do to get my money back?

Please tell me your experience, what you think I should do, and what I need to do to prepare myself for this court process. Any advice would be great, and any steps I should or should not take.

Thank you!
