Salman Rushdie once stated, "Fundamentalism isn't about religion--it's about power." This makes perfect sense. To say that these terrorists are motivated by peace or the "love of God", well that's insane.
And by the way--to the poster that stated that Hamas and Hezbollah aren't terrorists organizations? Ummm, when someone blows themselves up to kill innocent lives--then yes that makes them a terrorists. And the US isn't the "only" nation to suggest this. True they have a political arm, but their military wing is nothing but a group of terrorists.

I tend to agree with you, but I am a bit confused here. Why are Hezbollah & Hamas listed as terrorist organizations?!

Ah, u must be an american - u watch a lot of CBS & ABC evening news - FYI U.S is the only country out of the 163 countries that considers them terrorist organizations!!!

It's a dangerous combindation of politics and religion. The two should never be mixed in such a fashion. It's like trying to combine bleach and ammonia. Sure, it will clean anything, but you could kill youself doing it.
