I think they are extremely misunderstood in the minds of the american people. I think people just listen to 30 second sound bites on the news and form their opinions from that rather than taking the time to research the country.
1.freedom of religion, many religions practice freely in iran
2.it is a beautiful country and part of the cradle of civilization with a rich history.
3.they are not nut jobs who want to kill us.
They do not want jews killed or america wiped off the earth, why is this so hard to understand, they do not support the terrorist state of israel, and they want nuclear energy not weapons.
Why are pakistan and india allowed nuclear weapons, but Iran is not allowed nuclear energy? Oil is running out and they obviously would know something about that.
Iran is no more a threat to us than Hugo Chavez, the american people need to wise up and stop believing the lies the media and government feed them.

Don't know the people of Iran. I am sure they love peace as much as others do. Their leaders are a different story however. They are hate-mongers. With most of their venom going towards the USA and Israel. They would like nothing better than to finish developing their nuclear capabilities and then nuking both places right off the map. They support terrorists in other countries. Like Lebanon and Iraq. Their leader also thinks So
it is good diplomacy to go to another country and disparage that country's leader. So I hope the people of Iran will rise up and take back their country and install leaders who are truly leaders.

Lord help us if they get nuclear weapons. You wanna talk about the world coming to an end, buddy you better believe it. I don't understand why people don't take these nations seriously when they're chanting Death to Israel, Death to America. These people want to do us bodily harm, there is nothing peaceful about that government. And it's not because of us in Iraq, it's because they've always felt this way and the war in Iraq is their excuse for the shenanigans.
The European and Americans who think if we give in to their demands they will leave us alone are sadly mistaken. Do you get that they think everyone who is not a muslim is an infidel, and in their religion infidels either convert or DIE, no in between. Muhammad spreads his religion by the sword. If we had any sense we'd Wake Up and take some action. Why are we afraid to upset Muslims they don't care about upsetting us when they chant 'death to America and Israel.'
We are one of the superpowers of the World , we had better start acting like it, and stop acting like wimps.

We are being told to be afraid of Iran, the latest in a long line of boogie men to be scared of. What do I think? I haven't got enough information to have an informed opinion, and I doubt many people have, although I look forward to what self appointed "experts" have to say about this.

They have the right to develop and use nuclear energy for progress and the right to defend themselves if a foreign country attack them or invade them, as any other country of the world.

The more countries that work to deconstruct the current unipolar global political climate, the safer the world will be.

I find it increasingly ironic how Americas' Foreign Policy agenda continues its imperialistic pursuit and we call all who resent and oppose this drive ...terrorists.

I think the leader is a nut! He has a third world mind wrapped up in a gray suit. He and Chavez deserve each other. the way they hug each other I think they're gay.
