The Night
Faces walking with other souls
People with heavy bodies
Tonight is the night
The night of the dead
Where the ashes come
Alive
For the shoes of the children
The little doll with hair uncombed
Still carries a happy smile
Where crickets
Chirp the sounds
Stroking the violin of the night
Stars litter the sky
In hopes
Hearts won't fall
Where the dead
Beg
Beg to tell all.

Please respond to the following: If I was God and I wrote the commandments, and I found out that my followers were rationalizing my commandments to fit their agendas and beliefs, I think I would be pretty pissed. Thou Shall Not Kill seems pretty clear to me, but it IS the sixth and not the first. Then, maybe it's negotiable; maybe "kill" can be changed to "murder." In that case, then President Bush may not be killing at all becuase he is not legally murdering anyone. Its not murder if a person authorizes another person to fire a laser guided missle on a family of twelve if they are dining with an alleged terrorist, is it? If it prevents an attack then it's self defense, right? What if all these premptive attacks fail to stop future attacks? Will the US bomb the hell out the middle east for the rest of our lives?

I want President Bush to think of a pregnant woman who was tragically hit by one of our bombs. Would he be more sad about the loss of that woman or the loss of her fetus?

I am so embarrassed at the display of aggression, pomposity, pride and mental dullness displayed by Stephen Harper on his trips abroad. His latest fiasco was a tantrum that he threw at the Francophonie meeting in Bucharest.
How long do we have to endure this disaster?

If anyone is a lawer or have a well understanding of american law. I see in the news about some kid shooting a school for instance and then he's say 14 or so and is going to be charged as an adult, life in jail etc. Yet if that same kid had sex with someone age 21; that person is subject to rape charges because he's a minor. i'm just curious, it seems the legal system gets it both ways? i'm all for the justice system cracking down on law breakers and i'm not saying it should or should not be ok but i'm just wondering because it seems a little strange.

Conservatives love to preach that they are the only ones with family values. But are they?

They don't support labor unions, which helped the population into the middle class. They won't raise the minimium wage even though some families depend on it. They won't support universal healthcare even though millions of Americans and their families depend on it. They want to force women to keep unwanted pregnancies. They won't do anything about the environment, because it might hurt some CEOs profits.

But most liberals support these things.

So, who really has the family values?

Poll: Iraqis back attacks on U.S. troops By BARRY SCHWEID, AP
Diplomatic Writer

WASHINGTON - About six in 10 Iraqis say they approve of attacks on
U.S.-led forces, and slightly more than that want their government
to ask U.S. troops to leave within a year, according to a poll in
that country.

The Iraqis also have negative views of Osama bin Laden,
according to the early September poll of 1,150.

The poll, done for University of Maryland's Program on International
Policy Attitudes, found:

_Almost four in five Iraqis say the U.S. military force in
Iraq provokes more violence than it prevents.

_About 61 percent approved of the attacks — up from 47 percent in
January. A solid majority of Shiite and Sunni Arabs approved of the
attacks, according to the poll. The increase came mostly among
Shiite Iraqis.

In court , a young teen on trial always gets a case where they TRY to get them trialed as an adult(which usually does happen). I mean, other laws concerning age restrictions have NO exceptions or leaneancy and have severe consequences for violating them. If these age restriction laws are so serious why do people with offical power always change them to there will, are they just old and bitter ? Dont you think its wrong for them to "bend" the law just bcuz they want to.

I've already been denied twice. Now I have an appeal with the board of appeals. I had a pre-exsiting condition, and had treatment about eight times. I was still under treatment for pes planus at the time of my separation exam. Yet It was not noted on the exam. The military says that my condition was not aggravated by military service. When I enlisted, it was noted that I had pes planus 2. But there was not evaluation during the many times I requested treatment to see if the level had increased or decreased. I feel that the benefit of doubt should be in my favor. And the fact that I had to be treated and given a no standing order would suffice the notion that there is some aggravation right? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
