Oh, sorry, I am not a Republican...however I am for the death penalty. In cases of cold blooded murder (like the Wisconsin shooting today, and that Colorado deal the other day - if the guy had been captured), the trial should be speedy, appeals completed within a year, and then kaput.

We are indeed for the death penalty because we believe vicious criminals should not be afforded the opportunity to do it again in jails or to more innocent people if they escape from prison. and yes, they do need to speed up the process, this is ridiculous how it is now!

They are for the death penalty, but against abortion, Dems. are pro-choice, and against the death penalty, MAKES NO SENSE. Life is life, how do they know the baby they don't want to kill is not going to be a serial killer or the one they do kill will be another einstein, I mean seriously humans are killed either way, if you don't believe a baby is a human in the womb it would be one after birth, also why the hell does someone that shoots a preg. woman get charged for two murders? According to our legal system the woman's body is her own, and her choice, so two lives, the whole thing needs to be reviewed, honestly it's messed up.

I am a conservative first and a Republican second. I only speak for myself.I am for the death penalty in certain cases. Cases like murder and any kind of sexual molestion of children and that includes murder of that child. etal.

I think they are pretty much for the death penalty and against abortion, for the most part, that is their platform.
I'd have to agree with it. I am also against abortion and for the death penalty, I am a liberal/conservative/independent...
but since I'm against Bush's war for oil, they call me a 'liberal' whatever the heck that means anyway, go figure.

I am a liberal and I am all for the death penalty. why keep someone clothed and fed who has been proven to be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? in the case of pedophiles its been proven time and again that they don't stop. they get short sentences do half get out and do it again. thees are the creeps we should be executing.

Depends on who/what is being put to "death." If it's a human being, they are in favor of it. If it's a one-second-old embyro, then they are absolutely against it.
