It will end when there is a stable government again...

we took out the old government so we are responsible for helping to get a new stable government in place before we withdraw...

the problem is that people there are not interested in having freedom for everyone...

they are only interested in having the power for themselves no matter what it does to the country as a whole...

If they can't have the power.. then they will make it as hard for the other group to do what is necessary to stabilize the government...

They have been fighting in that part of the world for many centuries.. we just got there...

Most of the military that I talk to say that they are very willing to go back in support of our efforts.. yes, some are tired of it and would like to stay out of there.

It took Moses 40 years to get his people settled down enough to stay in one place.

It probably will end with a new administration, because Bush is too proud to say he's made a mistake and call our men home.
The violence in Iraq won't end even after our troops are gone, in my opinion. It's almost like the north and the south thing we had here in 1861-65; brothers against brothers, except their disagreements are of a religious nature.
It's a sad state of affairs over there and getting worse every day.

When the liberals finally pull their heads out of their collective butts and get over the fact that (Globally Goofy Al) Gore and (Why the long face John) Kerry lost, and get behind the rest of the country and support AMERICA instead of everyone else on the planet.

Bush or the United States is NOT the problem - The god damned Islamic terrorists are the problem.

What's so hard to understand? They have stated that you will convert to Islam - or you will die.
I don't particularly like either of those options, do you?

The threats are real - their tactics of killing thousands of innocent men, women and children is real - their agenda of a one world government under Islamic Law is real.

Of course it's a"terrible war" - what war isn't?

Civilized nations must take up arms against these demented murderers or they will truly regret it later.

When men like George W. Bush stop trying to take the resources of poor countries and call it "saving the people."

Even if Iraq ends, which won't be any time soon, the military will just be sent to another hot spot. Bush has sent us down a long hard road that wasn't even there until he unwittingly (or slow-wittedly) built it.

maybe when people like you rally behind the troops so they can get the job done w/o one arm tied behind their back.
remember Vietnam? your making this another one. Half the country can't be against something like this for it to be successful. But I guess Iran running the world doesn't bother you?
