After WWII about 100 Nazi scientists were taken over to the USA to help with military projects and space travel. There was then the space race between the USA and Russia who had also used technology and knowledge from the former regime in Germany. The prime testing site in America was of course Area 51.

What ever happened to all the food distributions, the red cross contributions , the medicine contributions.....It is like how people who live off the government funding here (the ones that are in true need of it, not the addicted ones), suddenly forget the good thats done...reminds me of when I was little, All week you do so well then you make one slip up and boom the rest is forgotten....Chavez so easily slams the US when the US has been their to help when they've had mother nature disasters and needed relief...but you know, I think we should stop being humane and let them realize what they had.....like my parents did to punish me, take it away for a bit and let them realize whats gone......your view?

I missed the days when I could put my President up against ANY foreign leader and did not need to worry that he would embaress himself or the country.

What ever your beef was with Clinton during his administration, you must have praise for the man for his work after he's left office. View the video and remember what a real President can be.

Question: Do you approve of Clinton's work after he left office?

Are liberals rooting AGAINST this country or FOR the enemy?
Epiphany: season ticket holders to redskins' games, every year same group of numb-skulls show up in opposing teams uniforms(yes, different jersey every week), to root against the home team.
Epiphany II: some new yorkers hate the yankees, not because they are mets fans, just because the yankees have more money, better players, george steinbrenner or whatever, but they root for the opposition. (i hate the yankees cause I love the orioles, and they have a boatload of money!)
Is there some self-deficating unresolved esteem issues in hating the home team, who clearly has the advantage (america) or is it human nature to root for the underdog?

I could remember (15 years or so ago) that no matter what our politics, we were AMERICANS FIRST. The vitreole that is spewing from both democrats and republicans alike, I believe, is destroying this great country of ours. It leaves no middle ground for compromise.
What has made us great and strong for so many years was our unity as a nation. We need to get this back and be Americans first and democrats and republicans second!

We are now facing an unprecedented general election for Governor. A white female vs. a black man, neither of which Massachusetts has ever elected to this position. I am wonering, even though many people are tired of the republicans using our State House as a stepping stone to move on higher levels, will people vote against Deval Patrick because of racial prejudice? Or against Kerry Healy because of gender prejudice?
