If a suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law then why are they put in jail? Isn't that putting LOTS of innocent people in jail until they come to trial?

if other countries dont give Americans certain rights, why should we guarantee it to them when they come to America? Try starting a church in saudi arabia, but if they come here they all have 10 kids each and build mosques all over the place that fund terrorists. trying to be morally better than them isnt going to help win a war on terrorism. am i right or am i right?

media outlets which only bring one side of the story to peoples around the world. such as "documentaries", "news", "sympathetic stories to our enemies", etc... i thought "freedom of the press" was to protect the government from spreading propaganda and lies...but if the media is doing it...who stops them...
I am an American and live outside of the US for my job. Everytime I watch the International news from the US it makes me feel that America is a terrible place to live because of so much accepted violence, everyone is against the war, the government can't do anything right, etc... However, when I visit my family what I watched on the "International news" is not the same thing I watch inside of America. The news from inside of america doesn't sound so bad for America.
where i live i can get CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, and BBC.

Why did the highest levels of the government prevent the FEDS from going after them and even threaten consequences if they tried. Now a much respected Senator is furious and was on CNN news to tell all, you can watch it at the following site.

do arabs have the right to answer question in this category? since they of course will always answer with anti-american bias, their comments should be held as propaganda or the result of Islam brainwashing them, no? it seems their comments are redundant.

On the BBC News website, there is a story about Cherie Blair giving a 17 Year Old boy a slap round the head for making bunny signs behind her back at a sports event in Glasgow. A complaint has been made and now she is in trouble with the Police. I do believe she is now a victim of her own self created 'extreme' Political Correctness. All of this PC nonsense is a load of rubbish but now that the creator has been bitten on the a'se by her own creation, do you think we might see a reduction of all of this nonsense now??

I am a "Proud-Vietnam-Veteran". I am "Sick-And-Tired" of the "Belly-Aching" now being cried out by our veterans now days. My Brother "Rocky" dies in my arms after stepping on a land-mine on the "Ho-Chi-Min" trail in "68". I took 2 rounds from an enemy AK-47 in the chest trying to carry what was left of him to the rear. Spent 8 months as a P.O.W. after "Hanoi" did their best to keep me alive as a "Propaganda-Tool". I was liberated in the beginning of "69", and still did another tour. And I was not your ordinary "Grunt", I was "Special-Forces" the Armies Elite, Best of the Best. All this being said, why do modern soldiers cry-out when they see someone killed, take another humans life, Suffer a "Minor-wound" For Gods sake people, Men actualy do "Die" in Wars. It's not a poker-game going on over seas as the liberals would think. It's a god-damned place where people die, plain and simple. A small note of closing for our vets. SUCK-IT-UP-TROOP! Behave as you were trained, AN AMERICAN!

And she straight told me that her husband works here under the table picking peaches. I only knew her for 5 minutes and she told me that. I guess cause I knew Spanish she trusted me or something. I was just thinking that Mexicans working under the table must be more common than I thought when you can just go out and meet people here and there that are working under the table. What do people think about this?

I have information on actual drug dealers where I could get an agent in. I am not getting a good response from anyone, since I do have a DUI. But, on the other hand, I am a professional woman, who got caught for speeding and got a DUI. During my time overnight in processing I did meet some people. Actually, now I believe that, now my ex-fiancé ,was drug trafficking right under my nose, coke and or ice from Mexico. I do not want to be guilt by association. I do not do drugs or would have anything to do with them. I know my first statement said I know known dealers, doesn’t mean I do it. I just want to get rid of this information.

were supposed to live in a fair and classless society,
so why is it, laws have been put in place, where if one drops litter, one can be given an on the spot fine, of £50-£80, depending on where you live.
surely it would have been better to introduce a system, where you are docked say 5-15%, of your net income depending on the nature of the environ-crime you commit, £80 to someone on tax credits is outragous, £80 to someone on high incomes, i.e. national average & above £28,000 p/yr is a drop in the ocean. we all dump rubbish, be it intentional or not, but unfair fines are just a way of hurting those who can least afford it, same applies to other on the spot fines....do you agree with the sentiment and why ?

I received three fines for my pets for not re-registering them. The reason I had done that was because I moved out of that town, and was no long required to register them in that town. I thought it would be a simple thing to sort out, but when I spoke to them they told me that the officer will never issue a fine without the owner being present and they always issue in person. This is not possible as I wasn't in the town anymore. I told them I could prove it (as I have a lease for my new place) but the big boss doesn't believe me and said his employees would not lie. I was told that I either pay them or go to court. What are my rights, and what can I say when I ring them once again tomorrow? Any good comebacks he won't know what to do with? I don't want to go to court especially as I would have to take the day off work.
