if other countries dont give Americans certain rights, why should we guarantee it to them when they come to America? Try starting a church in saudi arabia, but if they come here they all have 10 kids each and build mosques all over the place that fund terrorists. trying to be morally better than them isnt going to help win a war on terrorism. am i right or am i right?

if not allowed for them, not allowed for you

the US does sponsor "missionaries" to other countries like Spain sponsored Columbus as a charity to 'spread christ" for God and Country

using religion as a tool of political war and weapon against the mind is old school, old news

now a days we have Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, Pentegon and Voice of America pumping out the propaganda the represent corporate interests and largely not a majority of US citizens

unless you think the US is a bunch of racist elitist christians who hate foreigners, poor people and any other religion that doesn' match thier own abusive domineering evangelical radical version of terrorism

Rights of Americans and all other foreigners are highly secured so much so that natives often complained why they are not treated like foreigners. There are churches in Saudi, but as they are 100% Muslims, and the Christians are only those foreigners who stay in Arabia while making money, why should the country build churches ? they got their own in these little cities where they live. They even got their own vicars with them. Go to the American camps and the French companies and see them roaming around towns buying and buying spending some of the Saudi money.
One more question, why do not we see a MOSQUE at the Vatican?
PS, under international law, any body who hold a passport of any sovereign country and seeks entering to any other country, the host country got legal obligation to keep his security and safety. Read your passport carefully.

The first thing you're wrong about is the stereotyping. Second is that America was founded on the principle of immigrants. The first colonists we're immigrants and everyone after except for the American Indians and technically the Mexicans are immigrants. Those are the only two groups who originally settled the land that is now the United States. Finally, we're not morally better than any other country out there. The United States has over the past few generations opressed other nations. Maybe not through bombings, but through economic warfare.

Take the Philippine Islands for example. The Filipino's revolted against the Spanish. The US "offered" assistance to rout the Spanish as a silent partner. Then the US went around and purchased the Philippine Islands from the Spanish Government after the Filipino's routed the Spanish.

Then there's the whole torture/interigation of prisoners. We've been doing it for years...or at least allowing other countries that are our allies to do it for us. If our hands aren't bloody...then we're not at fault right?

The thing is...it's not wrong for a country to look out for it's best interests, but please don't wave holier than thou, morality card and please don't fly you immigrants aren't allowed flag when you ancestors are more than likely immigrants to this country themselves.

Hold it right there. You need to stop thinking like that. For example,if a mosque was built in your community.it doesn't mean it's a haven or a training ground for terrorists.
Just because you travel in a foreign country doesn't guarantee the Constitution will follow you. This country was built on religious freedom. Don't let the actions of a few be your basis of opinion of all.

Personally, I'm not going to another country. United States is the best country in the world. If people that live here don't like it then get out, move to place like Saudi Arabia or anywhere else in the Mideast where you have no rights and then maybe you will learn to appreciate what you did have right here at home.

Bilateral sanction of right is a good idea. But the west have a bad notion that they are superior in their system and the others are abusing it. Once treat them as equal (if you give the right to build church there, mosques allowed here rule) things have a chance, otherwise you are doomed.

Because our Constitution only limits what our government can do. It doesn't limit what other governments can do.

And since most of the so-called rights in the Constitution are actually phrased as limitations on government action using words like "any person" or "the accused", they apply in any situation where our government is acting, regardless of who we are acting against.

It's really a simple concept. Our laws only apply here. But they always apply here. And the Constitution always applies here.

why don't you stop seeking validation" Am I right or" etc...

the image citizens have of their country and what that countries government do to other coubtries is entirely different.

You should hope your country does the best it can for people .....All people.

War on terror, the war on suckers is more appropriate.

suckers like you who are happy to see their tax dollars spent making obnoxious extremeley wealthy people. Wealthy with the weapons of war.
Those rich people who make war care for you no more than a fly they have just sprayed with flyspray.

They invent wars to siphon money!

Grow up or are you waiting for time to do that.

you are right, they are using democracy to work against their host country. i donot like non-european people too, who just come to us for money and wealth, but donot consider to change a bit, to be like these people who are hosting them, -- you cannot try to stop guaranteeing rights for people from foreign countries, just because they donot give americans certain rights. the law is clear and it should be followed, this is good and right. if other people only try to go to a certain country to just bring there religion and culture and move people inter it, instead of changing and be like the people is dangerous,

these dirty ones dont have any morals except to breed and inbreed and suck countries dry like cockroaches.

And scream "repression" when their own country and culture is mired in depravity.

I may sound bitter, but that's because I am, so that's how it comes out.
