No reduction in PC will ever be seen. Cherie will get away with it scott free and it will be the rest of us who suffer.

There was no incident, even the supposed victim has expressed being shocked and not knowing what all the fuss is about, it was a lighthearted gesture between the two of them.
The complaint was made by a child welfare group who by all indications were not even present at the time of the alleged assault.
What a joke, it then took 6 detectives all day to investigate the allegation, your absolutely right, this political correctness has gone way too far.

Cherie Blair might be in trouble and most people may hate her (please we must remember that she is not the Prime Minister and she has nothing to do with polital mess ups), but she should not be punished for what she did children must know that they have to behave properly. In the olden days it used to be "Spare the rod and spoil the child" but now its try and control a child's behavour in what ever way using a rod, slapping, detention or verbal and you will end up in prison for child abuse. No wonder there are so many wild children wondering around the streets of the UK. Despite the fact that they get paid to school most of them still believe that learning is torture.

I dont think htat has anything to do with political correctness.
It has to do with normal respect, if nt for authority, then for elders or at least from a male to a female.
Dont get me wrong, PC is comlete BS that only serves the government that insists upon it while allowing people to see and understand less and less of the truth and think less and less clearly or honestly or intelligently because of how you have to dance around matter and eventually it gets lost.
But PC and mocking someone have nothing to do with each other.

I doubt it very much! I'm against violence for the sake of violence but I had a good few slappings when I was a kid (and I thouroughly deserved them) and they never did me any harm but taught me that there were consequenses to my actions. Kids these days ( god, I sound like an old fart!) can get away with almost anything becasue their parents and teachers are unable to provide discipline to their kids for fear of being caught by the 'PC police'. The kids know this and take full advantage.

Did not see the story but based on your comment she was totally in the wrong for slapping him and should be jailed for assault. On the other hand his parents need to switch his fanny or better yet take a priviledge away for a month as that was showing disrespect.
One would think those in the public eye would know to behave better and one would think any adult would have better sense than to slap a child that was not there own.

I am old enough to know better, but, tee hee - titter titter. Poetic justice. Hoisted by its own petard. However, don't get too excited, because, as we speak, plans will be afoot to get her off it. I am sure that the Glasgow lad can be persuaded, aren't you?
What a toady and spoil sport buddhaboy is. He must be a New Labour Supporter.

No,the human race has lost all respect for those around them, but for themselves also, the boys parents didn't raise him to respect others so how can u respect one's self, and Blair could of handled it in a different way give him a hug and it would have messed his mind up

Completely agree with you. I just cannot believe that she is "being investigated" for such a minor incident. In fact, it is not even an incident: it is just two people joking. I do not see anything punishable in her action, even if the boy was 15. Nonsense.
