There are several foreign crew that have been warned that the INS is being notified that they are no longer employed on the vessel, and that their visas are no longer valid. Is this a law?

With a massive 1.2 billion population and a highly qualified manpower, why do we face this situation?. Countries like China, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, Finland etc have got excellent infrastructure and some of them having Indians as their manpower. In fact all these countries are not as good as India's English language skills and have achieved this growth in less than 20 years. They are far ahead and progessing very rapidly. I feel sad.What's wrong with us?.

I saw a post criticizing the raise in corporate profits. Other posts are against defense contractors, evil big business, etc. What system would you recommend? (And no I won't play the false-dilemma game of entrapment ~ communism). But what would suggest America do.

This is a serious question and I am not trying to be racist i'm being serious. I asked my mom why she thought they drove so slow and she said because they are probably illegal and don't wanna get pulled over. They are constantly driving slower than the speed limit and it is so annoying. I also see them drive 5 miles an hour on a 30 mile an hour street all the time.

The Prince by Machiavelli is one of the best known books in politics. I wish to read more books to increase my political awareness. I found George Orwell's books (Animal Farm, & 1984) pretty interesting. I also had a chance to read Mein Kamp by HItler (not the I agree with every thing he says). I wish to know more about other great books in politics.

Has anyone got an opinion about the referendum result on the setting up of a Scottish Paliament ?
The result was (approximate figures) :-
45% - Yes
15 % - No
40% - ? - Did not turn up to vote.
55% - No's plus the "couldn't care less people".

So now we are burdened with all this extra cost and beaurocracy all housed in a £0.45 Billion Pound building.

a supervisor asked my co-workers questions about me in such a way that they could figure out confidential company info about me. Do I have any legal recourse outside of the company to pursue this? Management telling the supervisor not to do that again is not satisfactory to me

Hi,

The show Dog the Bounty Hunter. The gentlemen spends his life capturing criminals and drug users. He travels to Mexico to capture a man who skipped town, brings him back to the United States to stand trial.

The Mexican Government says he broke the law by doing that. So our Government handed him over to the Authorities. Why would our Government surrender one of the good guys? Why is this not top news...

Our nation needs to hear about this and try to get the Dog Hunter back in the United States. He is now sitting in a Mexican jail and who knows what all the criminals there are doing to him. They all consider him an enemy because he spends his life putting criminals behind bars.

I would like some feedback...please

I am fully aware of their agenda but it has recently come to my attention as every terror organisation with asian background is described by their religion, e.g. Al Qaida is regularly described as a Islamic Terrorist group, not just your bog standard terror group.

With Bush gone, the guy is going to be stuck with Iraq, the whole world hatin' on us, prisoners scattered all over the world, terrorists and not together, a country bruised by the division of its leaders etc...
If he's republican and continue with Bush's work, we are going to live this nightmare forever....
If he's democrat and he's not able to clean it up, boy aren't the republicans gonna have a field day!
