The choices their present gouvernment has made are disastrous, not only for the rest of us, but also for the US themselves in the long run.
The US are on the way into religion-dominated dictatorship by one family/group if the people there don't give up their complacency and call a halt.

Yes and No. But the choices it makes are for the best of the country hance not the best for another country.
The political world is shrouded in cloak and dagger scenarios manipulated with spin with some little white lies thrown in and some hard truth taken out.
Us regular people will never know the real reason why the US or any other country for that matter do wha they do. Without trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist its all lies and spin.

Not even remotely. The enormous debt in terms of blood and treasure that has been paid to return Afganistan to it's place in leading the global exports of Heroin and to replace a viscious dictator in Iraq who kept an iron grip on control, for one who is residing over a viscious inter-religious and tribal civil war.
They have brought the reputation of the United States into the gutter and sullied their good name internationally. They have broken international obligations and laws.
So NO.

Haha, right. Like not signing the kyoto agreement. What a good choice.
The thing with USAs choices on the international level is that they are based on internal politics, and not on international political realities.

Down the drain....
It's loosing it's reputation with other nations because of it's failing foreign policy which has so far managed to kill it's citizens as well as it's others...what bothers me is they still think they're on the top...which they are economically and such but not at all politically...as time will show...

Alistair Cooke said it all in his TV series "America". "The race is on, between its Vitality and its Decadence".
