Don't you think the illegals from central america that are overrunning this country will be what eventually ruins this country? Not terrorism, not china or north korea, but useless peasants that will drive this country into the third world? Don't get me wrong, I like immigration, really from anywhere like asia, africa and europe, it just seems to me, and unfortunately for us, the crappiest people are the ones right next door. When I look at a little asian kid I say well there's a future engineer or doctor. When I look at a little hispanic I say f*ck, just another future gang banger or orange vendor on the side of the road. So, you pick fruit and and vacuum hotels, you can train a f*ckin animal to do that, but then you'd have PETA on our asss. We don't need these useless people, imagine the percentage of people on welfare in 30 years. I'd move to Canada, but you just know when they're done destroying this country, they're next. Something seriously needs to be done

was written without 'Under God' included. It was included in the 40's during the McCarthy Communist Scare. Basically if you weren't Christian you were un-American and Communist.

The pledge was fine just the way it was before 'Under God'; people recited it and it was a great way to show our allegiance to our country. Now there is a fight to have those added words removed because it forces people to pledge allegiance to a country they love while invoking God onto them.

People have a right to believe what they want and, according to the laws of this country, shouldn't be forced to say or believe in something they don't want to. Why then should we continue to have these words in our Pledge to a country that isn't supposed to have alliance to any one particular religion or belief? What about the people that don't believe in God yet love this country and want to speak their allegiance to it along with everyone else? What has happened to the tolerance that this country was built on?

10 1/2 months after closing my builder gave me a bill for a sidewalk and overatures he found on some lighting for our new home. All the other overatures and extras for our home was covered under an addendum and taken care of at closing back in 8/19/05. Now for some reason he all of a sudden came across these two outstanding items. I thought the closing was final "settlement" of the home construction cost. What is to say the builder finds something else like extra sheet rock cost that he wants me to pay? Is there some time frame that he is allowed to do this. I didn't see anything in the contract that allows for this. Then again my closing attorney flew through this hoard of paper work at closing that may allow for this. Does it? I have some thing that I found on the contract that we didn't use. Can I ask for the credit? Please help in Richmond VA.

that there are many of us moderates who don't accept either of your agendas? To us a world where anything goes is just as bad as a world where nothing goes.
Both the liberals and convervatives look to shape the world at the expense of the middle class. Both of your agendas involve loss of freedoms and liberties. Both involve taking money away from the middle class.
I'm getting tired of being labeled with your pet names when I don't agree with gay rights, the war in Iraq, or the president. Being a Democrat or Republican does not instantly make a person a liberal nor a conservative. The current administration is too far right and needs to be drawn back to center. When a government goes too far right or too far left, we end up with an Orwellian type of system. Already you have a President who is very fluent in Newspeak.
It's time for the tail to stop wagging the dog. Politicians want you on their side. Don't you think it's time you demand they get on your side?

When you have qualifications they say you don't have experience and when you have experience they ask for paper qualifications. Both can not be achieved by everyone unless your parents have enough to feed you forever. Is it a deliberate attempt by the rich to kill others?.

This week's USA Today/Gallup poll had the President's approval ratings at 44% with 51% saying they disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling his job. Minus seven.

That's up from 31% in May, with 65% disapproving. Minus 34!

Furthermore, when people were asked, "If the election for Congress were being held today which party's candidate would you vote for in your Congressional District?", the results were, Republican 48%; Democrat 48%. A Tie.

Given this shift in the numbers, given the the Republican Party has been far better at motivating voters in the last seven years, and given the Democrats' continued inability to articulate any sort of coherent platform, unwillingness to address issues of concern to mainstream Americans, and continued reliance on the "we hate Gerorge Bush" campaign strategy (which has cost them elections in 2002 and 2004), could the Democrats be looking at another humiliating defeat in the upcoming elections?

Almost every country on earth has a bad opinion about America that is exaggerated. America makes mistakes, and its possible that the Iraq war was a mistake, but there is no country on earth that has a perfect record of leadership. The fact that America has had good leaders means its not hopeless. The fact that they have had bad leaders, means it is human like very other country. America has a huge responsibility, has a large burden from those who expect help from America, and has a lot of power. America is like the CEO of a company. If something very bad happens, the CEO is the first person to take crap, but no one looks at the smaller players. With so much responsibility, its easier to make a mistake, but one ever thinks that the smaller people may be to blame. Lets not forget that America does not "hire" countries!
With this in mind, is there a country that would *neccessarily* be better than America if it were put in to the same position of *power*, *burden*, and resposibility?
