homeless people get tard with the same brush its there own fault thay are homeless but this is not true and travellers turn up in large numbers and back councils into a corner to do some thing. if homeless people where to do the same i think councils would have to act

our local council has terrible trouble with travellers, they settle nice and cosy in one spot, council move them off, they have always got another space to go to,next thing you know there back again after being moved from last spot,it wouldnt be so bad if they contributed something the local community apart from there rubbish what they have left,as for homeless people, you always see quite a few council properties empty for a long time this is disgusting, when so many people are waiting for places

Mostly because travelers bring in money and spend it, which means the councils make money. Whereas the homeless don't bring in money and don't spend much, so they aren't profitable. Harsh, but it's the way the world is run.

Maybe you should visit some proper traveller sites. The trailers are spotless - much more so than many council houses belonging to the chav scum on benefits that occupy large areas of my town.

cos the council are scared of them. even when they build them a site they trash the place and so the council go back and clear up their mess for them. If they want to live like scum, let them and stop clearing up after them.

thye spend more on homeless people in most local authorities, but as the problem is a constantly changing one they never seem to hit the mark, where as travellers are pretty consistent and also very newsworthy

Could all the 'travellers' be relatives of John Prescott? If they set up camp near his house in Hull just watch how quick they disappear !

Because 'Travellers' are (allegedly) an oppressed minority, whereas the homeless are just 'down on their luck'.
