I have looked at all of the answers and there is one fundamental thing missing. People are afraid that they are loosing their country and the possibilities of it becoming an Islamic state although I think they are wrong it is something I can understand. You don't have to look back very far to realise that it is not that we are loosing our country we are giving it away and it all started when we agreed to become a non christian country. If we all went back to Christianity then we would be the majority not the minority and maybe have a voice. One of the reasons others are so strong is because they have a belief and a commitment to their religion if you say that you are a christian in this country you are considered a bit of a joke. I remember the days when this was considered a Christian country and you were proud of it now what have you got a lot of "I don't believe in God losers" all complaining that we are loosing our country to the Muslims. Get back to Christianity, your Country and your Church.

For a start, 1.7 million Muslims in a country with a population of 60 millions. They are a small minority so no, there will not be as many Muslims as non Muslims. There would need to be enormous breeding by Muslims already here, mass conversion of the rest of the population and a fundamental shift in out attitudes towards our liberties and freedoms for that to happen.
The UK will not become an Islamic state.
There is nothing to prevent so your last question is superfluous.

Listen to the Pirate Captain, a lot of sense there!
I am a white, anglo-saxon, nominally CofE English male. I lived for 8 years in a largely Muslim area of a town in the Midlands. In that time the amount of hassle I had from me (Muslim) neighbours was zero; on the contrary, they were very welcoming. There was no trouble, I felt safe, I could happily walk the local area after dark.
When I moved from that area, to a predominantly white area, I had to put up with abusive neighbours, I was burgled 4 times in a six month period and I was very careful where I went at night.
Mm, great idea, let's get rid of all the muslims, look at all the trouble they cause!!

followers of Islam interior the united kingdom has been envisioned at 2 million. although, it extremely isn't any longer an ethnic team. Muslims could come from many ethnic communities. there is confusion on the subject of religious, race and ethnicity. people who've taken a dislike to shine workers are no longer racist, simply by fact we are a similar race. Taking a dislike to an Arab Christian, simply by fact he's Arab, is racism. A Hindu of Indian foundation is purely as probably to be subjected to race hatred as a Muslim of Indian foundation, simply by fact some supposedly Anglo-Saxon human beings are enthusiastic approximately pores and skin coloration, length of nostril and so on. it extremely is unfounded racism.

Would you have all the muslim people lined up against a really long wall and shot dead?
Muslim people in britain never harmed anyone--do not argue using information from TV and itnernet and general news, but just think/ have you ever actually SEEN a muslim guy, wiht beard and his white robe-whatever, planting a bomb udner a car?
Another thing: do so-called terrorist attacks happen in any country that isn't concerned with Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan or war in general? NO YOU DON'T!!!
Did you get terrorist attacks before you started invading coutnries that had never harmed you? NO YOU DIDN'T!
Did you ever enter a mosque and hear an Imam urge the muslims to plant bombs everywhere?
Muslims are not parasites or an infestation of rats, they are human beigns like everyone else! asian people come to england, chinese people come to england, african people, latin people, people form all over the world, people from many different religions.
What is specifically worng with muslims?
You know what, IF what you so fear will happen happens, you'll have a great surprise: because whne islam used to cotnrol half of the world, it was a time of peace, knowledge and purity. you didn't get half as much of the horrible things that we have today!!!
You are a racist.
I don't want to start an argumant or anything, but if the world is such a miserable place it's because of people like you, because of people who can't accept anything different from them.
You question was sordid, it was the question of someone who does not READ ENOUGH!!!!!! educate yourself, read, study, get your proofs, get experience and then come and ask again.

If we dont act soon then its possible there will be too many and over run the country... They dont belong here...

In a democracy like the UK, the people choose of free will. You can not and will not be able to prevent a Muslim majority if this is what the majority becomes.

1) Unlikely.
2) No.
3) Nothing that doesn't stink of National Socialism.
What about after "you" have got rid of all Muslims, whats next? Jews, Gypsies, Catholics, French people?
There are more Irish people than Muslims, perhaps send them all home?
Seriously rather than reading the tabloid press and believing whatever rubbish some fascist down the pub told you, why not do something positive for a change and read some real news from other countries, literature from people who have bothered to understand the subject or even browse the internet, theres quite a lot of real info on it.
If you believe the Islamic population is some kind of massive threat you are just a sheep following the propaganda of the current US regime (ie Tony W. Blair). When the UK distances itself from the US, the "threat" from Islam is finished.
All monotheistic religion preaches the same eternal torture and suffering threat if you don't follow it, fundamentalism is the same regardless of creed.
Rather than pick on Muslims, an easy target for the less intelligent, pick on the causes of this so called threat, our own behaviour in invading their countries and killing their civilian populations, destroying their infrastructures and stealing their resources. We (US/UK/NATO in general) are the cause not the solution.
