Domestic issues tend to be short term, foreign tends ot be long term, so its hard to choose one over the other, there has to be a balance.

But the most pressing issue is homeland security and securing the borders, becuse until the borders can be secured, there can be no homeland security. So I'd have to say right now the focus should be on this domestic issue.

It used to be domestic issues. However, considering world events as of late, foreign policies can have a devastating effect on us here at home. Tough call, though. If we ignore the problems of the rest of the world, we'll piss someone off causing turmoil. If we ignore what's going on here in the country, we'll start to slip economically, educationally, and socially. Ultimately, I would probably say that domestic issues should be higher. Foreign policy would be very very close, though.

The basis of measuring the performance of any political office holder is determined by how much impact he was able to make on his peoples life. America has been for long an advocate of "governance for the people by the people and of the people. But the over the years American leaders have become too concerned over what happens in other countries to the detriment of the primary social responsibility of protecting and ensuring adequate welfare of its people. This is partly caused by Americans. American people have become so engrosed in the occurencies in other parts of the world and are becoming more oblivious of the direct and sublime consequencies of such political agenda.

The leaders are the most guilty culprit in this crime as they have cajoled their subjects to believe in an America that has conquered the world and in actual reality, the world is yet to be conquered by them. Civic social responsibility is the basis for concrete assesment of any governement. Americans should try to think more of what their governments have done to better their lives and not how much power does the presidents wields over other presidents.

This arrogant behaviour is embeded in no other American president in history like George Bush. Probably, Chavez would have to lecture us more on this outside UN conference hall.

How can you separate one from the other? They both effect us. Our ability to travel anywhere in the world in a matter of hours makes nations more like neighboring states rather than separate entities. Obviously, terrorism significantly effects our domestic life. Beyond that, we are increasingly living in a global economy. The stock market rises and falls depending on what is going on in the world. Immigration problems have a major impact on healthcare, education, our workforce, etc. Other countries invest in our markets...even own property and companies here. Both are too intermingled to treat as separate issues/problems.

The logical fallacy of false dilemma (also known as falsified dilemma, fallacy of the excluded middle, black and white thinking, false dichotomy, false correlative, either/or dilemma or bifurcation), involves a situation in which two alternative points of view are held to be the only options, when in reality there exist one or more other options which have not been considered

That's a tough question. I guess because we are at war, I would say foreign policy. If we weren't at war I would say domestic issues.

Domestic policies! We need better schools, affordable health care for all, infrastructure (new, upgraded, or repaired), crime prevention, homeland security, and a lot of other things that need his IMMEDIATE and UNDIVIDED attention. Doesn't he know our own needs are being ignored? Yes, I think so!

To me it rather is all intertwined collectively. without education you could no longer gain life to get that activity that provides you with wellness care. without that activity you could no longer have the money for housing and correct nutrition. We see it all the time, it rather is throughout our televisions and everywhere in the country. Why are there people who have greater desirable than others? And maximum critically why carry out a little of those people who have greater desirable than others decide for that we will no longer make contributions to something of the international? There has continuously been a conflict between the "HAVES" and the "HAVE NOTS". we live in a society that no longer in trouble-free terms enables homelessness yet starvation besides, merely like the placement in Africa. Why are we permitting this to proceed, i do no longer think of it is almost housing, wellness care, or education. it is approximately rolling up sleeves and helping people who choose help. on the same time as regulations are being handed, and communities are amassing collectively to think of of what to do approximately those situations. Time is ticking and yet somebody else is lost because of the fact there is too plenty time and attempt waisted on making plans on what to do next. merely like this united states of america could supply a rustic like Iraq hundreds of thousands and/or billions of dollars, they can grant money to people and different countries that have been battling poverty for years. i'm no longer individually attacking all of us, yet why are we permitting people like Donald Trump, Paris Hilton, and a few contributors of our government to stay in the suitable situations, and function plenty money whilst there are maximum of persons and babies suffering and not in trouble-free terms overseas, in this united states of america. i've got self belief that the somewhat wealthy could have some rules, there should not be any clarification why there are 6.5 million dollar properties and on the comparable time hundreds of thousands of ravenous people. This united states of america spends money on frivolous issues, and there could be a stop to it. it is how i've got self belief how poverty could end, how can the unfavourable dig themselves out of a hollow that may not in any respect bypass away?

I love that picture you have for your profile. I don't think you can put priority on anything, when you make one thing more important then the other something gets missed, and it usually cost lives.
