oh course Indra gandhi is much more bold than sonia...this may be b'cos Indra is from Nehru family and sonia is foreigner who later only became member..
ther are many incidents to prove...
Indra: she had a courage to fight againt neighbouring countries who crossed borders or made terrorism....she even send army inside Sikh temple to kill Terrorists b'cos of which she is dead... and ther are much more incidents like she made Emergency in india and proved that she is very courageous and lady comparing others...
Sonia: She is just soft type comparin indra.Every1 know Pakistan is cause of bomb blasts in mumbai and many places even prime minister told that he hav evidence but there is no action on pakistan??no courage no strong mind to her..She may not be the pm but all know she is ruling..She should hav taken som steps in these type of matters..C the current condition in India Daily bomb blasts and they just tellin pakistan is cause..thats all...i don know wat the hell is goin on ??
..even there are much more incidents to prove this too..

The situation when Indira Gandhi was in power was different and the situation at present is different, But Compared with Sonia , Indira was far more bold. No one can compare sonia to Indira.
Indira is the boldest among the prime ministers of India, NO ONE can bring In emergency or order the attack on the golden temple any time to stub out terrorists!!!!!!
By far she is India's Lady with a Iron Hand.

She was. But comparison is not right since the situation today is far different from what was prevailing during Indira Gandhi's time. She had no strong opposition both inside and outside then. She could afford to be bolder. In a way her boldness actually derailed her from her eminent position. On the other hand, Sonia is bolder in her own way. She is firm when it comes to her own ideas.

Well given the conditions then...it was more favourable for Indira Gandhi....so she had a home advantage + loyal leaders...so it was much easier for her to control things....which ultimately led her to take more bold decisions....in short nobody dared to oppose her in her party...not much of second line of leader....but now its completely different for sonia.....she had no such leader who she could have confined in.....nobody is today loyal to her...just cos of the circumstances they are behind her...so she is unable to take much bolder decisions...otherwise think about it....she is courageous....facing all the flank about her orgin....abt her family....yet to certain extent managing things with dignity....we gave a chance to BJP....but sorry...it was a utter disappointment.....it was proved beyond doubt that most of the politicians irrespective of the party are corrupt.....if sonia gets a majority and filters the natwars and other oldie cronies.....she will / might do something.....for that...we hv to forget her orgin....she has definitlely to larger extent if not proved at least displayed that she is a part of the India....so give her some time....dont just look at her from her orgins.....even Mother Teresa was frm an another country...did we not accept her when she did something good for us.....same way...let sonia do something good.......the ball is in her court.....we will wait and see.....

If Indra is living in this era of nuke, i guess she wont act as she did in 70s... but she was definitely bold for 80s. I dunno how you can compare ppl of different postition, from different era. But onething for sure lol.. Sonia must be bold enough to leave her country and come to India and have Indra as Mother-in-Law :)))
