And this...
"The Patriot Act has increased the flow of information within our government and it has helped break up terrorist cells in the United States of America. And the United States Congress was right to renew the terrorist act -- the Patriot Act." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C. , Sept. 7, 2006
"Those who enter the country illegally violate the law." --George W. Bush, Tucson, Ariz., Nov. 28, 2005
"We've got an issue in America. Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." --George W. Bush, Red Bluff, MO, September 6, 2004

He doesn't embarrass me in the least, and continues to provide me with endless amusement. Most of the rest of the world already didn't like him, and many have come to not like him since he first won the Presidency.
Soulsearcher's got it right, "it just woulnt be the same Apocolypse without him!"
What's even funnier though is the neo-con's irrationalities that criticising Bush = hating America, and all their biggotry is somehow moral. How can defending our Constitution and civil rights POSSIBLY be unpatriotic? Those folks are delirious. Where in the world do they get this stuff? It's SO far removed from reality that I question their sanity.

What about:
Mars is essentially in the same orbit...Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe." Governor George W. Bush, 8/11/94
One of the great sources of energy for the future is liquefied natural gas. There's a lot of gas reserves around the world. Gas is -- can only be transported by ship, though, when you liquefy it, when you put it in solid form. (apr 28, 2005)

The most horrific statements he has made recently are these:
1. Bush wants to rewrite the Geneva convention
a. authorize unfair trials that would allow the accused to be convicted on the basis of secret evidence
b. Allow for the use of interrogation techniques that amount to torture or ill treatment
c. Undermine the fundamental right of judicial review through habeus corpus proceedings for anyone in detention
d. Codify a broad definition of "unlawful enemy combatant" that would grant expansive power to the Executive to detain people
e. Establish retroactive immunity for individuals who may have committed torture and other war crimes
Call your representative and tell them to uphold Geneva, and especially Article 3! 202-224-3121

A reasonable person can never expect an ape like DUH-bya to fully grasp the intricacies of the English language. Many NEOCON defenders will point to his study at Yale as some sort of proof that he's intelligent. The fact remains that "old money" could send Forrest Gump to Yale, wait a minute I think it has.

I knew Bush would stoop this low when he started embarrassing us in front of the international community after taking office more than five years ago. He's just a freaking loose cannon already! One of these days, the words he's been speaking will come back to haunt him!

Good ol Clinton
"...I will tell you this: I will not raise taxes on the middle-class to pay for these programs." --Bill Clinton, presidential debate, 10/19/92
And then later...
"Probably there are people in this room still mad at me at that budget because you think I raised your taxes too much. It might surprise you to know that I think I raised them too much too." --Bill Clinton, remarks at Houston fund- raiser, 10/17/95
"[W]hen I was in England I experimented with marijuana a time or two, and I didn't like it. I didn't inhale." --Candidate Bill Clinton (The New York Times, 3/30/92)
"I think -- you know, raising taxes on Social Security recipients or middle class people, the fifty-cent [Perot] gas tax and all these tax increases when the economy is not growing is an error." Bill Clinton, October 23, 1992.
After President Clinton realized he could not gain enough support for his proposed Btu tax (which would have, among other things, imposed a tax of about 7.5 cents per gallon for gasoline and 8.3 cents per gallon for diesel), he had to accept a smaller tax that was agreed to in the Senate and passed by Congress: a 4.3-cents-per-gallon motor fuels tax. The law also extends a 2.5-cent gas tax set to expire in 1995.
Also......
Clinton's original plan taxed 85 percent (rather than the current 50
percent) of Social Security benefits for couples earning more than $32,000 and individuals earning more than $25,000. However, that was too much even for Congress to handle, so during conference the threshold was raised to $44,000 for couples and $34,000 for individuals. P.L. 103-66, Clinton's Tax and Spend Plan.
What a guy huh?
"I don't think we should raise corporate tax rates, [but I think we should give corporations more incentives to invest in this country]." Bill Clinton, July 13, 1992.
Wow...Clinton for the corporations...guess you never figured that one eh?
"I am appalled by the decision of the Bush administration to pick up fleeing Haitians on the high seas and forcibly return them to Haiti before considering their claim to political asylum.... If I were President, I would -- in the absence of clear and compelling evidence that they weren't political refugees -- give them temporary asylum until we restored the elected government of Haiti." Bill Clinton, May 27, 1992.
And then......
"For Haitians who do seek to leave Haiti, boat departure is a terrible and dangerous choice.... For this reason, the practice of returning those who fled Haiti by boat will continue, for the time being, after I become President. Those who do leave Haiti...by boat will be stopped and directly returned by the United States Coast Guard." Bill Clinton January 14, 1993.
Can we say Hypocritical?
"I have no intention of asking our young people in uniform...to go in there to do anything other than implement a peace agreement..." Bill Clinton, October 13, 1993.
and then....
"...I think that we cannot afford to discount the prospect of a military option [in Haiti]." Bill Clinton, May 3, 1994.
The war monger!!
"The ultimate goal is to make sure that the United Nations can fulfill its mission there and continue to work with the Somalis toward nation building." Bill Clinton, June 16, 1993.
And then...
"The U.S. military mission is not now nor was it ever one of `nation building.'" Bill Clinton, October 13, 1993.
Doh! Moghadishiu Mile. May those Soldiers rest in peace.
"It's long past time to clean up Washington. The last twelve years were nothing less than an extended hunting season for high-priced lobbyists and Washington influence peddlers. On streets where statesmen once strolled, a never-ending stream of money now changes hands -- tying the hands of those elected to lead." Bill Clinton, September 1992.
Three of Clinton's top appointments were lobbyists: Commerce Secretary Ron Brown...U.S. Trade Representative Mickey Kantor...and Veterans' Affairs Director Jesse Brown."
"[President Bush] hasn't fought a real war on crime and drugs. I will." Bill Clinton, July 16, 1992.
Clinton reduced funding for the Office of National Drug Control Policy (drug czar) to $5.8 million (FY 1993 funding level was $103 million). Budget of the United States Government for FY 1994, p. A-222.
"Fight crime by putting 100,000 new police officers on the streets." Putting People First, Bill Clinton, September 1992.
Clinton Crime Plan Falls Far Short on Cops: Bill Clinton campaigned for president promising to put 100,000 more police on the nation's streets by 1996, but the crime package he sent to Congress calls for only half that number. What's more, Clinton's package authorizes $3.4 billion for more cops over a six-year period, or $650 million per year beginning next year. That's enough to pay the salaries of only 13,000 police at the average national cost in salary and benefits of $50,000 per year, and even less in big cities where costs are higher--and crime is at its worst."
So why did Bill Clinton say that crap? Truth is, he was no better than your "hated" Bush. Get over yourself.
hmmm...well, since you hate anyone who is remotely conservative you're no better than the current president or any othe sh!tty politician...pretty well sums it up.
Edit -
Billy J your an idiot. There was no quote at your link. It was only explained as you would a report. Here is the real quote. Dipsh!t.
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," the president said. "Just as terrorists never stop thinking about new ways to harm the United States people, U.S. leaders never stop thinking about how to protect the nation and its people", he added.
Why not show some brains and use real information.
MishMash - That first one was a riot...remember it.
The second one I didn't know about...LOL He isn't the brightest..
