the really nasty thing is the Clinton administration pulled out of their latest strike in 1999, and about 18 months later President Bush is in command, and Clinton tells Bush that Al-Qaeda is the number one threat to America and foolishly, George decided to give Al-Qaeda a very low priority, much to the dismay of the National Security Advisor, Richard A. Clarke, who has since quit his job and written two books trying to explain the intelligence blunders and the number of times his repeated warnings would fall on deaf ears.
