I haven't read the other answers yet but I will bet that over half are filled with hate. It is unfortunate as I think Hillary would make an excellent president. She is a strong, intelligent person, that is not afraid to stand up to what is right, she would have one of the best advisers in the world, her husband. He was the most successful president at the job of running the country in over 40 years. He also was the last legally elected president that this country has had.

I've reserved any opinion on Hillary until she announces her candidacy, if that be the case. Until she becomes a candidate, she will not be discussing the direction she would lead the country as president. She acts now and speaks now as a senator from New York. She has been very careful in her speech to focus the fact that she is concern with the affairs of New York state and not the country at this point.

She is a crook - Travel Gate, files shredded at the Rose Law Firm, Cover-up of Vince Foster's death...
She is self-serving and dishonest and would not make a good President. Condoleeza Rice would. She is a gutsy woman.

You can't seperate politics from the presidency. People wouldn't mind a woman president. Hillary Clinton is too divise of a figure to ever be that woman.

Gutsy and outright stupid are two totally different things. Hillary falls into the later of the two. She puts her two cents in everywhere and most places it was never asked for nor needed.

The problem isn't a woman. Dr. Rice is getting some attention too. The problem is Hillary. People either love her or they despise her. There's no middle ground with her.

Do you know what the phrase "Carpetbagger" means? I'd really like to know what she's accomplished for New York State - particularly Upstate (Western). I believe she's been running for President since the day she was born. She might make a good one - but judging by the path she's chosen so far - I'd have to question whether SHE or the COUNTRY would come first.

Because of the second half of the phrase "gutsy woman".
America is afraid of women having power: we are a patriarchal society with a phobia of change. (What's the word for that? alterophobia?)
Personally, I want to see Oprah run. I would vote for that ticket.
