...who are all more worried about their name and their retirement than they are protecting our borders and our interests? The republicans and the democrats alike are just spoon feeding the poor and making false promises to the rich and unless someone lines their pocket or strokes their ego the policy is unimportant to them. It's high time for a change and I think this election year is the year to start. Vote none of the above!! In other words don't go to the polls at all. Everyone is screming it's our civic duty to vote, well I say it's our civic duty to ignore a government in shambles!

I know it'll never happen, but take a few minutes to consider the message it would send if not one single person turned out to vote. That's powerful!

I already do. People should read "See No Evil" by Robert Baer. It opened up my eyes.

It's an unfortunate part of civilization that there has to be both Rich and poor, both moral and immoral, both skilled and unskilled, both intelligent and morons, etc., etc.Like the proverbial coin, one side is heads and the other is tails and that is the way it has to be in order for the coin to exist.

The bad part of our systems takes place when we allow a single person or a small number to remain in power indefinitely. Eventually such person or persons begin to think and feel like dictators and tyrants.

It can also happen in a democracy where Congressional representatives and senators stay in power so long that they actually are dictators in their states; some actually feel they are above the law,...and they act that way.

We can't depend on our government Representatives to voluntarily enact limited terms of office for themselves, it has to be done by the public and be written into Constitutions. The USA did it by limiting its President to two 4-year terms, no more. Now the USA needs to do it for its Congressmen and Senators.

Without such limits, the conditions can be organized to keep the Leader in power for ever. Look around the world and see those who have become Dictators in their countries.I

Who said it was your duty to vote? It seems to me that voting is privilege, and if you should choose to give it up, fine. It just means that you have joined the masses of whiners, those who are constantly talking about the problems in the government, while at the same time refusing to do anything to fix them. It just means you're a cop out.

You seem to be a upright and dutiful kind of guy, in fact, you might be said to have a presidential air about you. Why not run? After all, you could surely run the country better than those bureaucrats.

Instead of bellyaching, get yourself elected and run the country the way it should be run!

I really like this question because it goes to the real root of the problem. Its bureaucrats that really run things not the President not Congress, not event the Supreme Court. They (the bureacrats) arent elected, their not accountable to us the voters in any way shape or form.

All they care about it is protecting their funding and their retirements.

Congress should dismantle the bureaucracy and begin anew.

The Aliens are controlling the Government. They are causing all the conflicts on Earth to keep the human race from moving out into space.
It's a conspiracy.

Ha ha ha
Where is your brandy snifter?

It is definitely true that the poor are the real problem and that anyone who makes less than $100K a year shouldn't get to vote. Peons, peasants, scum!

Then above $100K you should get an add'l. vote for each $10K that you make.
