I'm surving in the US Army in Afghianistan. On the 9th of September an Al-Queda suicide bomber killed an influntial cleric. two days later another Al-Queda suicide bomber exploded at his funeral, killing 20. No where in any of the reports did it say anything about the american medical personnel that kept the death toll from being double or triple that number. Why don't they tell the whole story?

I feel you man! I hate the media! They always only show half of the story. In my opinion, it feeds fire to what Islamic militants and radical clerics tell the followers who are skeptic about becoming another muj. They keep giving airtime to Cindy Sheehan and her cry baby son who left a bad imprint on US Soldiers' foreheads and herself who made a circus out of her son's death.

Because the worse the news the worst it is for Bush and the Republican Party...period. Very little was heard the day the Iraqi Government took over their own military because the BIG news of the day was how Paris Hilton got a DUI.. Unbelievable.... But that is how our media works.

Because of their agenda... Think about what they did before September 11, 2001. If you stand up for family values and the stuff our great country was made of then you are not part of their agenda. The leadership of the Bush Administration is not popular around the world, but guys like you are helping provide a stable life instead of terror.

I know it is tough, but many true patriots support you. Thanks for serving our country. You are a blessing!

Because the lib feeding frenzy cannot take place then. The liberals of the country want to hear the gory details... not the good things the US Troops are doing over there.

If you really are over there, God Bless you and your peers. Remember that "most" of the US citizens are supporting you and are thankful for your heroic efforts

Stories about medical personnel keeping the death toll from rising is boring as far as the media is concerned. They only care about those who did die, who did bomb or those that did survive a bombing. That sells.

Because the mainstream media only supports the "troops": when they turn on their officers. They have no concept of national security or defense of the nation.
