If God gave us all this oil to use, why did he make it difficult for us to get it by burying it under the ground of Muslim countries?

For example, welfare. Those on welfare get to vote, and those who pay taxes are allowed to vote. Or abortion. Those who can get pregnant can vote, but those who cannot, don't get to. What do you think? (those who cannot get pregnant would be men, and the elderly) Keep it constructive, if possible...;) It's just an experiment.

I'll give you a hint, the first one was a bigger crook than Dick Cheney (yes I know, that's impossible, but it's true). The second one Wussed out and CUT and RAN from Hezbollah after they bombed a Marine barracks killing 241 Marines. His vice President helped Arm, Train, Finance Bin Laden. They both wussed out and gave in to Iran and exchanged hostages for weapons. They both armed and financed the Taliban. This vice Presidents son wanted to hand over our ports to countries linked to terrorism.

Can you name these experts in the fine art of CUT and RUN?

I ask this because to me it seems the second world war was to keep Britain 'British',... so how come that so many goverments in the UK have allowed so many non-british to move and stay here,... and now we have all the problems we do.
Make sense?
I can't help but think of all those in WWII who put their lives on the line to keep the Germans out,.. and now the goverment has willy-nilly let nearly every other nationality into our country and it's now really going downhill... this country seems to be getting more and more tense as trouble becomes more and more severe on a daily basis.
It infuriates me to know that this is going on. I'm British and bloody proud of it. What's going on Mr Blair? What happened to the immigration laws???
Do you think Britain would be a better, safer, more tolerant, law-abiding, non-fundementalist, and generally trouble free place to live if immigration back in the 1940's-1950's had been heavily restricted?
Would like to know your answers,.. from anyone.

...eventually all democracies will fail because the voters will realize they can vote themselves "gifts" from the public treasury.

We know these gifts in modern times as "public assitance, public housing, welfare, foodstamps, etc.".

He also wrote that these "gifts" cause apathy and complacency which leads to comfort and the eventual fall or takeover of the government by tyrants who will enslave the people.

Agree or disagree?

In other words, this is not your father’s democrat party. Why is it so hard to understand that fighting for a woman’s right to vote is not the same as fighting for her right to murder her baby? Why is it so hard for you to understand that fighting for the freedom of black people is not the same as fighting for welfare benefits for black people? If you are a liberal today please do not smear the good name of real liberals from the past. And please, if you are still a democrat because of what the party once was, the party of the workingman, please, take a look around at what your party really stands for. Godlessness. I do not mean this in the religious sense, I mean it in the hedonistic pagan like debauchery the Romans once embraced, that is what you, the modern liberal/democrat, seems to want. Consider a switch. Email me if you are interested in joining the Republican Party.

I am from out of state with out of state DL on a rental car. Got pulled over for speeding (62 on 35 mph, Farm road). My licence is a Tx licence and I was pulled over in New Jersey. Do I need a lawyer or I can fight that myself since this is my first ticket after seven years. I am not sure how the point system works on a different state licence. I never been to the court for speeding ticket and not sure how to approach it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Given that a Republican-led company (Diebold) provides the government with the voting machines, their chairman (a party member) dismisses any problems with the security of these machines, non-partisan computer experts all agree that there is a potential security problem with these machines, there is no paper trail to ensure no tampering has taken place, no recounts are possible, there is currently no legislation requiring secure voting systems, and there were hints of tampering allegations during the last presidential election...

How can we trust that our votes are being counted without stringent laws governing the use of electronic machines? Shouldn't the firewalls for these machines be tighter than NORADs??
