There is no real reason we should have troops over there!! President Bush can't give a straight answer as far as the subject is concerned. What i think it is, is he is wanting to finish what his dad started during desert storm. When the UN is not supporting us being over there, than i think we should get the hell out.

Because they had WMD's and a sadistic leader. He murdered thousands of his own people because they didn't agree with him or for even less. He was starving them while he had piles of money hid away and our troops found it. He also lived in palaces while his people had nothing....not even education. There's also ties to Al Qaeda in Iraq. They are the ones who attacked us on 9/11. We've caught many Al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq since that time. The people of Iraq now have freedom and are working to rebuild their lives. We are working on ridding the world of these terrorists before they attack us on our soil again.
My loved one is one of the ones sent in harms way. I completely support this war and understand why we're there. They've made such huge progress that is never shown on the news or reported in the paper.

So before a goup of countries can controlthe oil suply and (basically rule the world) a couple of wars must be fought to make things tense and give a scuse tostart WWIII.
recap the major events that have happened in the last 5-6 years,
9/11
the war in IRAQ
the war in teh middel east
energy crises
oil prices spiking up
a anti terroist which hunt
North Corea creating supe missels

My guess is that we are surrounding Iran for an attack there. Think about it and look at a map... we have troops in Iraq which is to the left of Iran and we have troops in Afghanistan which is to the right of Iran.
