I spoke with some scholars and this is what I found out hope it helps.
Hamas is a Palastinian organization established after Israel's occupation of Palastine. Hamas fights on behalf of Palastinian people, Hamas provides food, clothing , health care, building of hospitals for Palastinians. Palastinian people like Hamas and choose them as the governing parties in a democratic election. This was opposed by USA and Israel since they are considered terrorists.
Hisbollah is a Labanese organization established after Israel's attack of Lebanon in the 80's. They are shite a sect of Islam kind of like the Catholics in Christianity. Hesbollah fights on behalf of Lebanese people they are fierece fighters and are not afraid to die.
Both organizations have seen lots of destruction and death on their country and it's people.
Neither organization have any planes, tanks or weapons of mass destructions compared to USA or Israel. They both share a intense hate for the government of USA and Israel.

Hamas has its strength in Palestine and is the majority political party in Palestine right now. Hezbollah, although a fledgling political party in Lebanon, is funded by Iran both militarily and economically. Both use terrorism as means to attack Israeli military and civilian targets as neither is powerful enough to engage the Israeli forces one on one.

There are many differences, and some similarities.
firstly- Hizbollah is Shiite and is essentially a military arm of Iran.
Hamas is Sunni and the militant power that took over the Palestinian Authority in their last election. Primarily due to the tremendous curruption in the Fatah party.
but- they both hate Israel and America and can't wait to kill us.

Hizballah is in South Lebanon, hamas is in gaza strip, far from each other. Hamas are not shiite

I think Hesbollah have more weapons cause the Iranians like them better....Hamas have to get their guns from poorer Muslim countries.

One is Shiite, one is Sunni. Two seperate groups, two different countries. They both hate Israel and the US by proxy.

The difference is in the spelling. Simularities is they both want to kill off anyone who is not Muslim - especially their brand of it.
