The only oil that belongs to me is either in the garage or in my vehicles. Otherwise, I have no ownership over it, or how it is disbursed.

To make a really long story short, when the Ottoman Empire was divided up by the European imperial powers after the world wars, the boundary lines were drawn somewhat arbitrarily & the only government given immediate self-rule was Saudu Arabia. This was done mainly due to the oil holdings of the European powers. It was mostly England & France at the time, by the way, the US Congress was not listening to what Wilson wanted to do and later became isolationists...
I have to wonder if at the time the regions now Iraq, Iran & Syria had been given independence instead of mandated oversight, if we would have friends there now instead of foes.
Of course, it didn't help matters any when the US helped overthrow the democratically elected ruler of Iran & installed the Shah.
As we settle down to a Middle East conflict that will probably last the rest of our lifetimes, interested persons may want to read the very well written book "A Peace to End All Peace: The Fall of the Ottoman Empire and the Creation of the Modern Middle East" (Paperback) by David Fromkin.

In all fairness some of our oil does come from America (mainly in Texas and the Gulf of Mexico). God didn't give us oil specifically. He gave us the minds to make technology, and our technology formulated around the easiest to use fuel, which is oil. We could make technology to run on other kinds of fuel, like water, methane, solar, wind and so many more. Or we could do what God made us to do (walk) or at the very least to ride one of the many animals he made that are capable of carrying us without much effort (like horses, elephants, even cows, and so many more there as well). God may have made oil (or rather the animals whose bones eventually just turned to oil), but we are the ones who made it into a fuel source and we are the ones who refuse to switch over to another fuel source.

Our oil is under the Gulf of Mexico, the Rocky Mountains and the North Slope of Alaska. If it wasn't for environmental whack jobs we could get to our oil.
Plus we will invent something within ten years that will replace petroleum in many uses and then the arabs will no longer get our money. In there lies the problem. Maybe the only thing that keeps the arabs in check is that we are sending them financial aid via the oil fields. When the financial aid dries up then they will try to kill us even harder.

Is this a serious question? The USA has plenty of oil deposits of its own. To the extent that it obtains oil from Arab countries it does so as a customer. The Arabs SELL their oil to the world, including the USA.

Well just maybe (if there is a God) He buried under the ground in Muslim countries as you put it. for them to protect from thieving tyrants stealing it and polluting the clean air that He also gave us to breathe!
I'd say it's not really an issue as to where something is it's who gets their hands on it to exploit it!
Does anything really belong to anybody?
And no I'm not Muslim I'm not religious.

Actually, if you calculate it out, the vast majority of U.S. oil imports come from non-Middle Eastern countries. Canada and Mexico are the largest contributors, then Saudia Arabia, then Venezuela then Nigeria. The REAL question is, given that we only import a small percentage of our oil from those regions, why does the price of gas always shoot up 20 cents when there's trouble in the Middle East?!?

We have alot of oil here but the Democrats prevent the oil companies from producing here. There is a huge strike in the gulf greater than Prudhoe Bay. So in the future, less oil will come from Muslim and South American Sources.

Your question is obviously framed, tongue in cheek. The US don't own it the sense that you suggest. There weren't any Muslim countries when the oil was formed. The oil would be useless if the west didn't need it and be prepared to buy it.

what made you think god gave you the oil to use , god made the world and gave each continant rich in different ways to some he gave gold to some he gave silver to some he gave fertile land to some he gave rivers, to some he gave minerals ,if arab countries have been give oil you surely must be gifted with plenty of water as you find water is very hard to find in deserts and arid lands, we are supposed to share the wealth of our country with others in that way we build relationships between man kind
