Type their name on the internet... I found someone that way, it even showed his mug shot, and what he was wanted for.

There are numerous web sites that will do criminal record checks for a fee. As far as a being a "fugitive", a law enforcement agency has to check the person for warrants. They will not show up in a criminal records check because the person has yet to be convicted. Go to the police in your town and give them the persons name and date of birth. They can check the nationwide system. If you have a valid reason to know they may tell you but if it comes back that they have a warrant, expect that the police will want you to help them find this person. Some locals maintain a web site of wanted people but mostly only for high profile crimes and then you would have to know what agency to look in.

type in your local police departments or correctional facilities they will show a run down of wanted people. Or go to FBIs most wanted.
