I spent 13 years in the Navy and never knew anyone with a sleepwalking disorder. What I can tell you is that you need to get this checked out by a Dr. first. The disorder maybe a something easily fixed with proper medication, or even in some cases lifestyle modifications. What you definitely need to do is, no matter what, make sure this is noted in records prior to enlisting in the service. Known medical conditions hidden from the military prior to enlisting can eventually come back to bite you in the end. When something like that is found out after you enter the service, it can allow the military to discharge you with an OTH (other than honorable) discharge. If you get something like that on your record, it can be a pain to rectify (though not impossible), and takes time to get done.

Actually, yes. You wouldn't be able to go to sea on a ship because you would almost certainly hurt yourself badly walking into something. I know people who have been discharged for precisely that reason.
