Why do Americans seem to be fighting with each other more and more each day? Are we not supposed to be the United states? We seem to act a lot more like we are divided...

It's impossible to count exactly how many new registrants were inspired by the new movement because counties typically don't ask for race or ethnicity.

New registrations were up this year compared with last year, but they were well below the numbers in 2004, and the increase is not surprise at a time Democrats and Republicans are struggling for control of Congress. Even without that factor, the numbers don't indicate the awakening advocates had envisioned."

I had understood that new registrations were up in Arizona, but not clearly on one side of the issue or another.

I cant find anything worth keeping where I live and want to pick out my strain from online. The problem is, it goes through customs and will be postmarked from the Netherlands. Could customs just seize it, and send me a notice of confiscation like I heard about. Apparently, they dont do anything basically, just let you know they found it and confiscated it and you're not getting it. But if they dont do anything about it, whats the chances of them knocking on the door 3 months later?

I think I'm just paranoid, and realistically theres like a 98 percent chance everything would be fine, but what do you think?

Bush first says The War on Terror is not directly aimed at one person, or one country, but then he recently compares Osama to Hitler, which sort of says to me that it IS about just one person. What do you think? I don't think I completely understand this stuff.

My take: Mexicans want US laws, employment, and education. Why not give it to them by making Mexico the 51st through 58th states? It would certainly solve the immigration issue, if Mexicans can find what they want right at home: stability, a decent legal system, free education, and such. It would definitely dampen the drug import problem, with far less of a border to the south to deal with. Before I get lots of hostile responses, I'd like to hear from both sides. Serious answers only, please. This is a what-if question, not inciting to war.

There is no Liberal party on the ballot where I vote. There is the Democratic and Republican party and on some voting machines the Libertarian party. There may even be a right to life party but if there is a liberal party, i think it's pretty dam rare.

for having our citizenship....why can't they be grateful for all the things this country gives them? In some cases more than our citizens...like medical care..education..etc. Why can't they work with us. We have been bending over backwards for them for years...where is the gratitude... Am I missing something..or are some of these people really arrogant

" A restrictive new state law aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration has helped driver's license offices spot - and prevent - more than 1,700 attempts to obtain licenses with fake documents, a state official said.

Michael Cooke, executive director of the Colorado Department of Revenue, said during the past month, about 2,100 license applicants were told their documents needed further investigation. Of those, 177 met with investigators who later determined the applicants were legal residents, she said.

Cooke said officials don't expect to hear from many of the remaining applicants because they know their documents are fake.....
