I knew that from the start...I live in TX, so lots of people believed his ***...but I knew! Not that I completely believe the 9/11 Commission Report or anything, but it even said it in there that there has been no evidence linking Iraq&9/11...we totally attacked the wrong people! It's quite interesting to me that not a shadow of suspicion fell on Saudi Arabia, even though the great majority of the highjackers were Saudi. Oh, but we ♥ them, b/c they give us their oil...so they are fine in our book, nevermind all of their crimes against humanity! It was all about oil and $$$, and I feel it insults our intelligence by not giving us the real facts and tricking us into an unneccessary war. It's like they treat us like petulant children who need to be misled "for our own good." Sure, wars do need to be fought sometimes (WWII, for example)...but not this one.
I'd be interested in reading his new statements so I can say "I told you so" to everyone who doubted me! Link please?

Ok is this a question? I'm kind of puzzled why people don't see the connection between terrorism in Iraq. I don't believe GWB ever connected 9/11 events directly to Saddam Hussein. That I believe is a distortion of the history behind why Iraq was invaded.
After 9/11 GWB went straight to Congress to get approval to invade Afghanistan to find Osama Bin Laden, and to take power away from the Taliban. Then after that, Saddam Hussein started flying aircraft in the no fly zone, and was not letting U.N. inspectors into Iraq. To say that there was no WMD threat in Iraq is to ignore the historical facts that Saddam Hussein has used chemical weapons on civilians as well as enemies, and the other historical fact is that Saddam Hussein sent Scud missiles into Israel during the first Persian Gulf war.
So WMD's were not found, there is no direct connection to 9/11, but I don't see a pattern of deception here. There were some things that were said that were a rush to judgement, and there are some typical things politicians say, but Congress approved the invasion on Iraq based on all the facts that I outlined above. I don't believe Bush said that Saddam Hussein was the mastermind behind 9/11. I do remember right after the U.S. Cole bombing I think the Playstation 2 came out, and it was odd that there were lots of orders for those going to Saddam Hussein, so I was wondering back then is Saddam Hussein was planning to use those as flight simulators for terrorist attacks. Also he sheltered terrorists, (please see link this is no joke) and there were some terrorist training camps found in northern Irag. What really defies logic is that there are no terrorists in Iraq. Almost all the deaths that are happening in Iraq are terrorists, and terrorists are the real enemy that we are fighting in Iraq.

You consider that news? Bush never argued a connection between the 9/11 attack and Iraq and they have been reporting that no WMD's have been found since April of 2003. Maybe you should try asking a question next time.
