i came from india a month ago. i m driving car from last 9 years. rules in canada are diffrent. but i have learned that. my old INDIAN liscence can help me in getting new liscence? will i get any benifit?

you will have to re test accordingly to Canadian motor vehicles laws you will only gain the experience of knowing how to drive your Indian license is just a useless piece of paper as for getting an international license it only good if you are visiting once you establish residency it null and void after 30 days

GET AN INTERNATIONAL LICENSE , IT COSTS MORE BUT WILL HELP YOU IN THE LONG RUN IF YOU INTEND TO RETURN TO INDIA,,,,,
