It has not been on the news or in the papers that I know off, but thousands of people in Britain have got letters from the Home Office offering them £3.000 to go back to their own country. I have seen the letters as through my job i was asked to read and translate some of them. I would be intrested to know peoples thoughts on this offer.

winning parties get what they want. As a rule the Court does not implement it's own decision but............................. the case to the lower court with instructions to act accordance with the Supreme Court's opinion.
Just one word. And jokers, go outside and play!!

Dick Cheney (Khayney)

Donald Rumsfeld (Krumsfendl)

Both Jewish surnames. Why would the two most powerful politicians in the U.S.A want to hide their Jewishness?

I hear that on saturday that most television stations are going to be viewing programmes relating to the events on 9/11. When will America & the rest of the World realise that what happened on 9/11 just happened & get over it. I think the Americans invasion of Iraq was alot worse that 9/11. I dont hate America or anything I just wish they would shut up about it. They have terrorised the poorer countries of the world for years & when one event happens to them they cant handle it. There is no war on terror & whatever problems they have with the muslims the fact is in the end the muslims are going to win. Hope they remember the following: You give flak, you get it back.

If we force our women to cover themselves, kill gay people, and enforce a strict religious law we wouldn't need to continue with this horrible and costly War on Terror. We'd be giving up most of our Western values, sure, but at least we'd have peace and the terrorists would leave us alone. George Galloway could probably get Britain a "good deal" in a future world Caliphate and we'd probably be able to keep our Royal Family and other institutions. Isn't that better than having one more soldier killed in Iraq or Afghanistan?

They are all just slams at each other. Why doesn't someone actually post a question that's aim is to truly see why the other guy thinks the way he does? If you want to fight and slug it out, why don't you move to a message board or chat?

My situation is rather complex. I was illegaly entered into the United States at the age of two, and ever since, I was raised "American". I have assimilated to the American culture, and I am very fond of America (except for the cultural hegemony, the anti-intellectual attitude , aspects America could improve on). My life-long goal is to become a citizen of this country, however I am not well read in immigration law, having been misinformed about it, and its tendency to lack objectivity. I currently am a student at the local community college (math major) in Southern CA. My parents, also illegals, offered to pay my tuition, but I do not want them to. I feel that my higher education should be at my expense, on the account that a) I'm 18 yrs old, and b) it builds character and financial responsibility.
However, my circumstances undermine my goal of independently paying for college. How can I go about being a legal citizen? Should I return to Mexico? What's in my best interest?

And they sell tater tots, hot dogs, pizza and doughnuts. Wouldn't it be better if they practiced what they preached Are they meeting some sort of government requirement and yet still making the best profit they can? If I tried to raise a child by feeding him high fat deep fried goodies, but preached about nutrition, I think I might be called a an idiot. Any opinions?

I want to know detail of a case in US, where litigation was filed against a company for polluting the lake. The company lost the case, and it had to pay compensation.

The whole quote from C. Tomanio of Texas: "There are some people, and I'm one of them, that believe George Bush was placed where he is by the Lord," Tomanio said. "I don't care how he governs, I will support him. I'm a Republican through and through"

What has she been smoking? The way Bush does it is if you put your pic nic blanket 5ft from an ant hill. And when the ants attack the food you go stomp the hill. And as more ants pour out, you stomp harder. And even though they get in your socks and bite the heck out of you, just stomp even harder. After you have agitated more and more ants and they swarm the the food, call it a success because they could not get into the olives. Sent by God? God doesn't chose clowns to do his work.
