And can we stop the damned train before it explodes into the buffers? Personally I don't think so as we have let things slip too far. Too pessimistic, what say you?

We have already had two un-elected lesbians as presidents, so should we just formalize it?

Would you be ok with a militant lesbian in office?

These idiots protest at dead service members funerals. They protested tonight in Lubbock, TX. The funeral they protested was the second funeral for this mom and dad. This family has lost 2 sons in the war. I have met their parents before and they are stand up people. They did not deserve this protest at their son's funeral. If you ever feel that you are a true patriot, compare yourself to the Velez family. You will find there is more you can do for your country.

It is a shame that there are so many homeless people out there and as time goes by it will get worse. Or economy is getting to the point where people have to choose. Some people have to chose between a gallon of milk for there kids and a gallon of gas. Some people have to chose to eat or there medications. And the way the rent is these days it's crazy. And no employer wants to give cost of living raises. And landlords just keep raising rents to the point where people cant even live. I do understand there are allot of hard working people that work hard for what they have. And that is cool
but what about the disabled. Or the mother that did not finish school and her husband of 15 yrs just left her. Or the big company that just downsized and the supervisor that worked at the company for 10 yrs just got laid of cause of it.
And all the commercials to help all the people in other countries? What about helping our own fellow man first before we help everyone else in the world. And those poor Katrina victims that are still struggling after it all.
America you really need to look at your own back yard before you help others. I suggest people volunteer at your local church give that bum on the street your spare change instead of saying get a job. Free cycle the clothes you don’t want or need. Give food to the local pantry place for the less fortunate.
I am proud to be an American because I looked in my own back yard and I have help many even though I am disabled with limited income I always find a way to lend a helping hand

Can You?

On the 33rd anniversary of her initial lawsuit, which resulted in the high court's historic ruling three years later, Norma McCorvey (search) announced Tuesday she will petition the court to reopen the original case, based on changes in law and technology over the last 30 years.

"I'm sorry that I signed that affidavit," McCorvey said during the press conference Tuesday, referring to when she became the plaintiff in the original case.

She said the court case "brought the holocaust of abortion" but that with her legal action Tuesday, "I feel good about myself, I really do. I feel like the weight of the world has really been lifted off my shoulders."

McCorvey made the announcement at the Ferris Plaza Park in Dallas, just blocks from the Earl Cabell Federal Building, where the original lawsuit was entered.

"I long for the day that justice will be done and the guilt from all of these deaths will be removed from my shoulders," McCorvey said in a statement announcing the intent of the motion. "I want to do everything in my power to help women and their children.

I'm not sure if I've ever stated my position on these pages about gay marriage and homosexuality in general, so I will do it now. First, let me say that I think the family unit is the single most important part of our culture. Anything that weakens the family, weakens us as a nation. In my opinion, gay marriage does exactly that so it makes sense why I am against it. I am also a Christian so I personally think homosexuality is wrong.

That doesn't mean that I hate gay people or even that I want to prevent them from participating in homosexuality. It simply means that I am against allowing them to call it marriage.

My father is a US citizen. He applied for immigration of my two kids, me and my husband. Two years before our immigration my father became incapacitated by a brain stroke. When we got letter from immigration, my brother handled rest of the processes of our case. Because my father was incapacitated both mentally and physically, so he had no income. My brother also had no income. So we had to find someone to sponsor us. Now two years after immigration, my brother demands some money. He says that “I have used all false documents to represent our father, now if I disclose this matter to immigration, they will cancel your green card and will send all of you back to India. So now if you want to stay in this USA you will have to pay me some money.”
Now my question is, is his claim true? Even if he used some false documents (false tax returns paper, false sponsor), will that cause termination of our status or cancellation of our green cards? I don’t want to be black mailed. Any good advice?

Why do so many Europeans (other than the Brittish) have their heads stuck in the sand over this most recent Hezbollah-Israeli war?
Has it been so long ago that they have forgotten who Adolph Hitler was?
Is history not taught in European schools?
Do Europeans not understand what facism is?
Would Europeans rather have cheap fuel and speak Arabic than have their freedom?
Is there any way to wake the Europeans up?

I would think that after the Madrid subway bombings and other incursions on their own soil, the Europeans would be willing to put their obvious anti-semetism aside for just long enough to see the Mid East for what it is today and realize they have a target on their backs, again.

But, then of course, they weren't able to do so when Hilter was on the rise. Apparently the same myopic mentality is pervasive again.

Your thoughts?

Just because you give a warning ahead of time does that free you from killing innocent people? The leaflets warn that citizens should leave their homes before bombs come, is that fair? This is war not a commercial for Israel the nice guy.
