What if our next President legalized abortion, stem-cell research, and said that God will have absolutley no influence on his governing decisions.
Well, would you be a little upset? Be honest.
Now think about it: you support President Bush because he shares your morals and beliefs. He's one of those "Pro-life" guys, and believes that morality should be the ultimate guideline when making decisions for our country. Our country is comprised of hundreds of religions. How do you think that people who aren't Christian feel? Do you think that other religions have valid feelings too?
I was under the impression that the separation of Church and State was still in effect in our country. Apparently, that is not the case anymore. That is precisely why President Bush will go down in history as the worst President our country ever had to endure.
I'm a Christian, by the way-- I just don't see religion's influence in government. Hey, at least we can take comfort in a Democrat President in 2008.
