America is big enough for all those that want to come here, so why are we so mean? They contribute to the economy anyway.

From AP News: Two of the Pentagon's most senior generals conceded to Congress on Thursday that the surge in sectarian violence in Baghdad in recent weeks means Iraq may be descending into civil war.

"Iraq could move toward civil war" if the violence is not contained, Gen. John Abizaid, the top U.S. commander in the Middle East, told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

"I believe that the sectarian violence is probably as bad as I have seen it," he said.

A confidential report from Britain's outgoing ambassador to Iraq warned the country is sliding toward civil war and is likely to divide eventually along ethnic lines.

William Patey, who left his diplomatic post in Baghdad last week, predicted in the document that the situation in Iraq could remain volatile for the next decade. "Even the lowered expectation of President Bush for Iraq - a government that can sustain itself, defend itself and govern itself and is an ally in the war on terror - must remain in doubt."

You want to hang someone else and still be stupid enough to lay infront of a tank.

Why do so many blame Bush and not the Government? Hes a puppet, anyone that has been in student government should know that.

Of course thats why they put him there so we can blame him.

Now I am no bush lover or any president lover for that matter. However I am intelligent enough to know he is a puppet. Why arent you. Leave George alone.

You see how he goes right back to cuttin up tree's in front of cameras knowing it will piss people off? But he does it with a smile!

he could care less about what we think, he is doing the job his daddy gave him.

He like a CEO that still has to answer to the board.

Am I alone in this knowledge?

I am seeing more and more people call those against the military action of Israel claim that their opponents are anti-Semitic. To me, anti-Semiticism is anti-Judaism. Hitler and the Nazis were anti-Semitic. Right? Are there degrees of anti-Semitism, and perhaps those against Israel's military action are only slightly anti-Semitic? Is anti-Semtisim to the lesser degree, if not violent are aggressive, tolerable if so?

Today I came home and saw where somebody apparently broke into my apartment. I called the police and filed a report. My apartment landlord was notified and they said they were sending someone to replace my locks. Here it is 8:30 at night, and they never showed. We tried to call the 24 hour number, but it was diconnected. We have no other number to reach them. I'm still spooked, and don't want to be here alone tomorrow when my husband goes to work.
We looked through the lease, but nothing is specified about 24/7 service.
What should I do?

Isn't this concept, especially in the media, being taken to ridiculous extremes? And whites are especially targeted. These days we are becoming afraid of openly being proud of who we are, and what we are. It seems we cannot say we are heterosexual, conservative, liberal or Christian without some crazy group accusing us of being anti-gay,
anti-semite, anti-black or anti-something. We don't scream blue bloody murder if blacks, gays and non-Christian religious groups have their clubs or organisations, but all hell breaks loose if we want to do it ourselves.
I think our right to state our opinions and being what we are, is being taken away from us, and we are allowing it to happen.
I am white, male, Christian and moderate, and the rest of you can go suck eggs!

A.) America would continue to prosper. The economy would continue to grow under Bush's rule. Freedom would continue to spread across the world. Foreign policy would be smooth. Terr'r'r'rrists would be brought to justice under the swift decisive "smoke em out and git er done" Bush logic. And Fox News would be the only channel left on TV.

B.) The world would completely implode from the stupidity and corruption of Dubya and his repub minions. America would lose more dignity and God knows what would transpire. Dubya is a moron and Dick Cheney is a lunatic. Red states have low education standards.

Right now there are thousands and thousands of terrorists who are willing to give up their lives just to kill americans. In the mean time, poloticians sit back as if nothing is wrong. Eventually there will be another 9/11 or, god forbid, worse. The blame for that will be that we didn't get enough support in the world against this threat.

Have you ever met an intelligent Bush supporter? Y'know, someone who doesn't link Sadaam to fake WMD's or yell Git'r'done!

I haven't. Their logic is extremely childish.
